I purchased like 3 or 4 of the ED e/s last time around and I have never touched any of them. They were an impulse buy and once I got around to swatching them myself I felt like they weren't really all the great. I'm hoping this time around I am a little more impressed. Loved the feel of them though.
The eye shadows I have tried are much more sheer. I got a couple silvery/gunmetal and opal type shades, but I passed on anything darker or more colorful. In my experience the color shades are usually fairly translucent. This last go round of ED was a little less exciting for me. I passed on the blushes and now I am kicking myself. I should have grabbed a couple. I was seriously lusting after Definitely Defined, but I don't like it nearly as much as Whisper of Guilt. I don't really care for the split colors. I prefer the straight up metallic highlighter, so I only use the top portion of DD. The descriptions of the skin finishes in this release sound like they are one color in each pan (yay!) but they also describe the new colors as having "sheen" instead of "shimmer". I hope they are just as sparkly and metallic as the original 3.

I thought the first ED shadows were really pigmented (Lunar, Rich Core, Modern Pewter) the second launch shadows seems much sheerer.

I really disliked Zestful when I'd expected to love it - it was way too sheer and glittery for me. I don't want to have to put a dark base under it to bring out the green because I don't particularly care for dark shadow. I gave my daughter my Zestful but kept Opalesse. Not sure why I did because I've never worn it. It's too sheeny pink for me.

A Natural Flirt and Stolen Moment are both workhorses. I don't find either sheer, but I'm not someone who likes uber pigmented shadow like UD. I tend to wear Sweet Heat sheered out, but that's preference. I find Modern Pewter, Rich Core and Grand Galaxy well pigmented.

Last year the Boxing Day launch was après chic right? And that was online on the 25th? I remember ordering before I went and swatched. I really hope this is available online on Christmas so I can avoid the mall on Boxing Day...

Which of these EDSFs do you all think will work best (based on description for now) will work best for WOCs? I am NC45.
I think Superb would look really pretty on NC45, and dare I say even Magnetic Appeal, depending on how it's applied and how drastically your tone changes when it's cold outside. Truthfully, even if we wait for swatches, it would have to be on the right skin tone, to get a good idea of what it will look like and even then your undertone could be TOTALLY different or WORSE, it could be selling out while we look for swatches

I think all 3 will work on brown skin. Based on the descriptions I think Superb might end up being the palest one, and it is awesome on brown skin, so I'm sure if the other two are "deeper" base tones they will work as well. I only say this because in the Extra Dimension 2012 collection Superb was kind of the middle ESDF. Whisper of Guilt was hella pale but still wearable for WOC. Glorify is the shiznit on brown skin, it just looks like sheer liquid gold on the cheek to me. Those EDSFs were hella coveted and the formula is AMAZING (will emphasize large pores though unfortunately). If these are anything like that release, which my gut is telling me they will be, I'd get them all. I certainly plan on backing up all three!
Would superb work for NW45? I love rose gold
Absolutely! It doesn't pull rosy on my skin though. I'm NW45 and I loved Superb! I had one that I dropped and shattered and I was so hurt lol! Ended up finding one in the CB and it arrived semi broken so I re-sold it for half of what I paid. So needless to say I am happy as hell about this repromote!

You're right!! I was thinking that Magnetic Appeal may work too, I'm interested to see Superb. I have Whisper of Gilt and I love it!

Thanks! I loved Whisper of Gilt, and I'm sure something more golden than that would work as well. Well...I might be getting all three! Then I'll be done with Skinfinishes for a while. Between this and all the lippies that I want from Punk Couture, I might be broke in December.
