Yup. For me Subverted was the most unique shade as I don't have a lot of dark browns. The closest I have is Kittenish. I liked it waaaaay more than I thought I would, so I'm going to check out Film Noir next time I visit a MAC counter

I like the red so far.... the others I'm not sure of and the blk is ok...but I find...it can age you, and I think a matte blk may make you look drab and I do see some MAC mua 's ....wear too much dark make up and some only 21 yrs old looking 35 or 40...so sometimes that dark stuff will age u like hell...so just saying

Both very true! Dang...looks like it's going to be a stalking like crazy kind of release. I've faulted at getting a lippy and not wearing it (Grey Friday I'm looking at you!). But I've def been more into vampy lips. They are just higher matinance. So I still reach for them less. I'm a waitress so don't have much time to check my makeup at work. A lot easier to grab a pick up and go color.

Dark and bold lips do seem to be on trend though so I think people will still buy especially with the way people are gobbling up these MAC collections lately. I feel like these are gonna fly off the shelves even if sadly most people won't have the b@lls to wear them after they purchase.

People will buy it solely because its LE, some hate being left out or regret not buying even though they might not wear it. I dont have any purples, being a new lipstick collector and I love the Strong Woman swatches I see around youtube and etc., so I really want these.

It goes back to the old school ideology where darker skin African Americans should only wear dark lipstick. These ladies have no idea about the goth connotations associated with black lippies.

I tried looking up the metallic shadows individually (for a friend...I have bu's so I'm good) and they didn't come up on my phone :shrugs: Maybe I missed something. If they are there then great! I can get her to check on her own

i think folks skipped on the dark colors from the nude n metallics coll cuz it was all about the bright pinks n corals between spring n summer soooo yea folks slept on it. i already know im gonna skip this collection but im gonna loooove to see swatches n looks wearin em!!

It's a great blush that I need to show some love lol. I've been using Barefaced on a regular bases because it's so easy...it truly lives up to it's name. I really might need to back that one up and I never back up blushes lol. But Stylish Me is really pretty.

It's a personal fav of my son and me too! He liked the "scary" factor and he liked that it wasn't so girlie like many of my other favorite movies I'd make him watch (Labyrinth and MANY Disney movies included here) so we would watch this one all the time! At Halloween and Christmas! Hot Topic always has some really cute NBC stuff around this time of year! I got a cute beanie last year!

Halloween was my favorite holiday growing up, but Christmas was a close second, so when I first saw that movie, I thought it was brilliant! I'm a Disney freak myself, but this is my favorite. I love Hot Topic for stuff like this, because they do always have super cute Nightmare Before Christmas things. I can only imagine how cute that beanie is! Thank you so much for posting those lipsticks, I have to get them ASAP!
