RiRi Hearts MAC Fall Collection (October 3, 2013)

Thanks ladies I used what I usually use with retro mattes a cherryculture lipbalm and I tried homéoplasmine (recommanded on the RM thread). I do have the liner but I think I like it better without. M y mom is comming to visit next week she has P+P I'll try it with TTT we shall see ^^

I am thinking there was too much balm and it didn't set to hold the color.

For those old skool mattes and some of these retromattes Prep & Prime has really saved the day. I find layering a lippy with Lustre finish or the Tinted Lip Conditioner underneath works okay too. I don't usually need Prep and Prime for other finish lippies. I thought Cyber was a lost cause until I tried Prep & Prime. I read someone tried the Tender Tones underneath too and that works as well. It will probably shorten the wear time, but at least it doesn't make my lips look like I haven't had any fluids for a week. (Runway Hit--I am looking at YOU).

Yes. I like lusters underneath too but always with Prep and Prime. It saves my lips from getting dry and saves the color. It is a miracle in a tube!!!

Also, I only use the liner to clean up the edges and prevent migration. It is like an extra barrier.

Call the meadow mall in Las Vegas, NV they have it there inside their Dillard's Awwww you girls are all so nice...luckilyi called my local MAC and thry got WTC and Nude as well..just went to get them and that completes my hunt for all 4...I had already ordered from a shop in San Diego thanks to another gal who put me on yestetday.. but gonna keep it for my friend. She was only able to get HK

I was able to finally get my hands on a TTT thanks to an angel here on specktra! Thank you Anyways, since it's still available in some stores, I am still considering her cocoa quad. I saw a tutorial with this palette on YouTube and I really like it, but I have both naked palettes. Wondering if I should purchase it!!

I like TTT better. I am nw18 and do not like the brown in FOD.

I'm NW40 and I prefer FOD, colour wise and performance. For me, it goes on much smoother and lasts longer than TTT. I think the color of FOD is a bit more flattering for me, but I think it's a personal preference. If you prefer rich wine-brown shades you will like FOD, if you like deep scarlet berry plums, you'll like TTT. I love the color of TTT, but it's application leaves a bit to be desired.

Real talk...it's only a must have if you are lacking any real nudes in your collection. It's a nice set BUT it's not terribly unique. Now if you have the extra cash and don't mind spending it then go for it. But if you know you could put that money towards something else (say another collection or something else you really want) then I wouldn't go for it. Just my thoughts

I prefer TTT ... for me it's less brown than FOD

They both pull brown on me! No beautiful berry at all unless I dab a little heaux over TTT. I should've bu'd heaux!

I am NW45/NC50

NC15 here. TTT because it's less brown on me and also just a little more unusual color. It's very fussy to apply and get a perfect smooth look with, which takes it down a notch. FOD is easier to deal with and must honestly be very flattering on me, because when I wear it I get a lot of looks and compliments. When I get TTT to behave, it's so rich and gorgeous but it takes doing.

Strangely enough, the one fall color from MAC I get the absolute MOST compliments when I wear it is Just a Bite! All sorts of random women ask me what I'm wearing and say how much they love it.
