From what I read it's not legal for employers to delay paychecks. The thing is they usually do it because they don't have the money to pay the employees, meaning the business is doing bad so it would be hard to get the money from them on time. Best is to talk with employer before contacting department of labor as those take 4-6 weeks to process the claims ( http://work.chron.com/can-employer-late-paying-me-1486.html ).

I rarely buy skincare from sephora anymore. The jar packaging so many lines still use is long out dated and causes certain ingredients to deteriorate. Many have fragrance ingredients which are skin irritants. Many are way over-priced for what they deliver. I always read the reviews at http://beautypedia.com first. I do still have a couple skin care products on my list which got a GOOD or a BEST rating for beautypedia.
And, of course, i still want more makeup colors. My wish list has about 80 products on it. Lots of nail polishes, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders, NARS Duo Eyeshadows, tarte cheek stains... and on and on.
I might get a couple somethings, but i spent waaaay too much on the Divine Night colour collection, so i really need to keep expenses down. Ardency Inn Lipstick in Black Is Blue, described as "deep midnight blue with a slight indigo undertone". If you think MAC lipsticks cost too much... But i'll have to order on-line, since it isn't anywhere near me. And an illamasqua lipstick or two, also not in my neighborhood.

Thanks for all the advice, ladies! I tried looking into my state's employment law, but it's iffy as I can't file a claim until 10 days after the missed check. However, they haven't actually notified anyone in writing yet, and if they don't, I'll be filing some sort of claim immediately. I'm not even supposed to know yet, as only the salary employees have officially been told. I don't have a copy of my contract, but I think I can find the documents I signed in my office. Oh, they have the money, they're just trying to get out of paying us three times before the end of the year like we're owed. Thank goodness I already planned to be out of this place by the end of the year. I will call the labor board tomorrow, though, and get definite answers. Thanks to a $200 expense that popped up this week, I really can't go without my pay.It depends on the state and employment contract, Kaori. Most states don't have laws against it, but some do and the employer could be responsible for damages.

Every year around this time I tend to spend the most at Sephora. I love all of the holiday/special edition/LE sets that companies put out. Probably 95% of the stuff in my cart is LE/Holiday.

The email I got says 10% off prestige brands and 20% off everything else. its good til 11/2 if you are an ulta member. U can use in store or online. Check your emails ladies
That sucks to hear.When I opened the palette I fell in love all over again. At first I said 2 colors were similar too but I saw the diffrrence. I haven't swatched them yet though. I am going to play with everything tomorrow. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint

Oh, I didn't get that email. I may have missed it. I was talking about the 20% off F&F sale including prestige brands in stores only, but you have to have a coupon/invite.

I received the email version from Ulta that gives only 10% off prestige brands. There are two different versions going around email and mail. Mail gives 20% off everything from what I understand Sometimes I get mail but this time I didn't for some reason. Maybe I have not been spending enough this year
Someone on IG was sending out Ulta coupons to people via email. I wonder if Ulta is trying to do thing similar to Sephora with the spending based coupon offers.

Have fun! When a new Sephora opened in my city, I had to work, so I sent my friend instead because they were giving out random gift cards ($10-100) value and a large Sephora tote bag (GWP). Not sure what time she went, but there was a line before they opened.

so I just tried to check out on the sephora website with my gift card and I really couldn't understand why it wouldn't go through. Well, after trying 74737 more times, I realized that on the bottom of my gift card it has the JCP logo. I read the back if the card and to find out you can not use a sephora JcP gift card in the website or in regular sephoras. I'm so upset. My JCP Sephora sucks!!!!!
