Loving Nude. So happy I decided to get it. Wish I had the funds to get a back up. But I have other priorities, like being able to see (contacts) and Im trying to save for December's spending frenzy.

my TTT back up (I really love it and have practically worn it everyday) and my nude came today... I matched nude with Dynamo Lipliner and a touch of clear gloss. Fun! (I ordered a wtc from a site thanks from a pm) We shall see if WTC comes through. I also caved and got a riri woo although I still love my ruby w.

My ttt lipstick arrived and I'm hating it I kinda want to return it! You have to work w it cause its patchy ughhhhh idk wat to do.

Try Prep & Prime Lip - TTT was patchy on me too and P&PL completely fixed the issue. I tried it because so many Specktrettes were recommending it!

I am also havin the same problem with u. U definitely have to use MAC prep plus prime lip primer to smoothen ur lips before u apply it... otherwise it goes on VERY dry and patchy... Prep plus prime lip helps a lot...

But even then after 2 hours of wear, my lips still get dry wearing TTT

I got my TTT lipstick today too. The color is nice but it does not have a smooth application. I totally agree with you. Try putting Rebel over it or Fixed on Drama.

Honestly at this point unless you ordered it and it took a long time to get to you chances are you has fair warning from all of the "complaints" that TTT was fairly difficult to work with and was patchy to work with. Not saying it's your fault or anything. Just saying that it probably shouldn't have been a surprise unless you haven't heard anything about it. A few have said they haven't had that issue but most of us have. One of the most popular solutions is to try using Naked or similar lippie as a base (or P&P) to help it apply more smoothly. Hopefully you find something that works for you or perhaps you can find someone else that would like to buy it from you. Or of course you could return it.

I agree because everyone has been saying that since September that TTT is not easy to go on. So by now everyone should know what the deal is with that lipstick.

I knew it was going to be drying as with other retro mattes on me, but i still got suckered in because I liked the color. And I specially bought prep plus prime lip for the retro matte lipsticks in the retro matte collection coz most retro mattes go on drying on ME. bUT for sure I cannot wear this more 3 hours on my lips even with a lip primer/ lip balm...it drys my lips too much (more so than the other retro matte lippies). N i dun wanna put gloss on it coz it will kinda change the look. This color still looks best matte matte. So despite all its cons, I will still wear it, but will not wear this the whole day.

Mac Canada just restocked again... both Woo and WTC lipsticks, Woo and TTT lip liners, lashes, HK and BGG! Heaux and Boy are also available and coming up in search (mine arrived in the mail yesterday so it is legit!!!)

Yeah I think putting gloss on it would defeat the purpose of it being a matte unless you just like the color and not the matte finish. But if you try using the Naked or similar nude lippie trick it might help also. Not sure if it will help more than P+P because I haven't tried that but with Naked it doesn't dry out on me. Naked is surprisingly creamy and non-drying on me so it keeps TTT from drying on me. Otherwise TTT is a hot mess lol. FOD is a better formula although it's drying too (retro mattes tend to be). Just takes it a bit longer to look dry and it doesn't apply patchy on me. Slightly regret selling my bu now lol. Only slightly. Glad I could help a fellow member out though so it makes me happy that my bu found a happy home.

I swear by P+P lip! It's truly awesome even if I just want to wear a lip liner, or liner and gloss. It helps keep my lips from shriveling up with matte formulas, and it helps the color stain well, without fading awkwardly throughout the day.

I caved and got a TTT lipstick from Nordstrom and it came Weds, so yesterday I decided to give it a whirl and do a vampy look for Halloween.

I paired it with Vino lip liner, then Lap of Luxury lipglass on top added a neat berry tone to it.

I'm confused. I just called Mac and was told that you could not purchase stuff from the Canadian Mac website and have it sent to the US. You can only have it sent to Canada.
