Which Kat Von D? I ordered Spellbinding because the swatches were just too pretty, but Ladybird is all mattes and a lot of people like that too

So just as I suspected there were samples in the tote ! I also ended up hauling more ! I caved in and got the Nars 1 night stand palette. I also caved for some a YSL lipstick & lipgloss.
After this all Im buying is the Riri Holiday collection and I have to go on a no buy.
The sample bag is nothing too special in my opinion but I will list the samples below. They are all sampled packets unless indicated.

I got Ladybird when it first released and I love that thing. I was wondering about the Spellbinding one. I only swatched one color when I was in Sephora last because I was determined to take it off my list and replace it with the LM palette. However since I now have the LM palette that frees up a chunk of my budget for something else. Maybe I should just save that money. I couldn't even say that with a straight face!!!

The colors are layerable! I haven't tried that before and that's a fun idea

Glad I'm not the only person who was enticed by that Spellbinding set. The color variety was so good that I couldn't resist... I definitely didn't plan on getting that initially.

I'm so annoyed with sephora this morning. Actually for the last 6 months. I was kind enough last year to hand out my extra 15% in the store to a random person and ever since then the girl has had access to my card and keeps redeeming my points. It's been back and forth for months and I've been very nice about it. They always say I will receive a call back and email back and NOTHING! So finally after she did it again I had to make a big scene with them over the phone and I finally got my results. Unfortunately I had to start a whole new account and I was told if have to wait 7-10 business days until I was upgraded back to vib. Which was a MONTH AGO!! They told me to call and make an order over the phone and they would apply it themselves of course I feared the ONE thing that would make or break me ordering was the ambient palette.! It was in stock an hour before they were open for my to call in which is 9a since I am on the east coast of course it sold out before they were open. This could have been avoided. And to compensate for all my drama they gave me 300 points. WOMP WOMP WOMP. How about 50% off an item. I'll keep my money in my pocket.

I didn't either, but it's such a great selection of colors and finishes. Between this and trying Kat Von D's Lock-it foundation this week, I'm definitely much more interested in her products
I was finally able to place an order last night after 40 min of trouble with the site. Final haul: Laura Mercier Artist's Palette NARS Train Bleu Benefit It's a Love Fest set Bite Beauty Best Bite set (gift) Kat Von D Spellbinding Lip set (gift) Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip set (x2, gifts) I had NARS Goodbye Emmanuelle and Full Frontal in my cart but last minute decided to remove them. If my lemming for them doesn't go away in a few days I'll go in store to see them in person, maybe I won't want them as much if the colors aren't what I expect (let's hope!).

There is this one color in the palette that keeps drawing my attention. Its Oddfellow. It was of course the ONLY color I swatched that day! Checking out that link you posted right now.

For the price and variety, I think it's worth it to try out some different brands. If my cart hadn't been so full of other lip stuff, I would've bought it myself

Just placed my order for the caudalie moisturizer, i hope it works! I bought most of the fun stuff during the F&F sale, so Im trying not to spend too much besides necessities right now. Those dior glosses in my wishlist are tempting me though! My lavish palette that I added days ago disappeared from my cart, so it probably wasn't meant to be.

You are welcome!!! I hope you enjoy those shadows. Are you a MUA? Or are all these goodies for your personal use? UD makes amazing eyeshadows, I was tempted but the true is I would never use half of those shadows. I’m at work 2/3 of my time so I have to keep it simple (and I’m afraid of color but that is another story).
Everything I want was available during the sale. I was afraid the Hourglass Ambient Lighting in Diffuse light would sell out, but is still in the site. I’m glad my order came through in the first try,
In a funny note, I was editing my cart yesterday and my husband came by and sees it.

That's great! I am a BI and have $89 to become VIB. I read from previous posts about anyone being able to use the code. I tried and had no success.

Just remind him that video games will be going on sale this month too- Amazon always has Gold Box deals the week of Black Friday where the more popular games are usually around $30, and Walmart and Best Buy have sales too. He laughs and told that I keep myself in the budget (I was). Then he gave me a list of videogames he wants me to get us (He was trying to redirect my attention to things that are more “worthy” of our money; at least in his opinion).

The Vibtopia code is for VIBs only. A friend who is a VIB has to give you a code. Its a completely different code. A specktra member was nice enough to give me her friend code (Thanks Kaori!). Im pretty sure somebody else would be willing to share theirs, barring that they have no friends interested in makeup. Good luck!
