Thanks Dominique :) that is what I really need I know it may sound weird that someone has to get used to red lippie (whilst for many girls it's something natural ) I bought Marilyn because it is limited and later will be too late Yet I need something like 999 to get used to red:) Thanks one more time

I really would have loved to share the prettiness of this powder with you...
I'm sure it super beautiful on you! No one had it when I went shopping a couple weekends ago.

I have my Dior powder, it's very pretty and really heavy as you said, the smell is very light though and the pan, well to be opened carefully I think. It is heavy indeed.
I will try it asap, I don't understand why it is an exclusive, the price is not so high ( Guerlain is 67 € I mean La Petite Robe Noire ), we have more and more exclusive products here esp. with Lancôme in fact or Chanel, at Sephora we have a Fall 2013 collection for Holiday, such a shame really !

I am glad you have Marilyn, oh yes Minuit is stunning and 999 is truly what you need if you search for a go-to red lipstick. The texture is good, the smell is delicate too. I have only one Dior lipstick from their new range, and it's 999. ^^

And here's Minuit. It looks so beautiful in this bottle - I always stay away from dark nail shades but couldn't resist that.
And think that's enough for now with dark shades in my case.
Dior Spring is pastel so it should be not too hard.

Hello. I'm new :) I really enjoy Dior cosmetics.

I started by using addict lipstick when they came out, then joined with mascara. I ended up dropping the mascara because I have large eyelashes anyway, so I only used it seldomly for going out. The Diorshow mascara is really good, but at a 30€ pricetag is too much for something that is only going to be used a handful of times, then thrown out since the expiring date came up. Sometimes, the dior counter I go to gives me samples of their mascara (they have awesome client treatment btw), so I kind of wish Dior made minis or travel size or something, I would buy those. The addict lipsticks stayed though, I used about four colours depending on mood. They're quite nice, only just a tad of colour and very moisturising which is exactly what I like. However, I've been thinking of switching to the rouge serum line though, because of the treatment and SPF.

Since I was a bit of a regular at the counter, I once bought nail polish. I was never much of a fan, because taking care of painted nails gives a lot of work! However, the colour was very pretty for me (Waterlily) and so I just caved. Worse or better thing I've done, I've converted and now have +20 nail polishes from Dior. I use nail polish regularly now. I like it quite a lot. It's what I use most outrageously. I don't really do much make up and I like everything subdued, but I enjoy painting my nails in every colour but red (the only exception is 999!).

The eyeliners are quite cool, but since I missed on the turquoise one a few years ago, I kind of got into urban decay for the crazy colours. I do have a brown one of the permanent range, but I'll be honest, while I have no issues splurging for other Dior products because while overpriced they certainly perform in superior ways, I don't see a difference between these two brands. I do like the smoky palets, I own a brown one (yes I'm boring). I also have the mono blue denim, totally takes my breath away. I'm not much of a fan of quints. I already have trouble as it is not to be lazy and use the smoky pallete, let alone the quint. Still, I always enjoy looking at them because of the study of colours they do. Just like makeup cases, though those are even more artful. Its interesting how high fashion is to be appreciated in so many ways, or perhaps I'm just weird and find these kinds of things worthy of my attention.

I also got the eye skinflash, quite nice. It's not something I thought I needed, but now that I've started using it I def see the point. I don't use foundation since I'm happy with my complexion as it is (I use avene products for skincare). However, I do use sunscreen, so I need a matifying powder. I've been using one from Shiseido, but since I've became... a fangirl (I don't know what else to call it) of Dior, I'm thinking of switching when that one runs out. Although I'm not sure what I should be buying. I believe its the diorskin poudre libre on their website, but I'll have to research this one properly before buying.

I also like Miss Dior EDP (parfum makes my head hurt) and Midnight Poison (got it for my mother). I have the escales EDTs but while they smile quite nice, they don't really last anything. I've been eyeing forever and ever. I liked the smell a lot. I'll be asking a sample to see if it lasts long.

So now that I've introduced myself and my Dior fan side, I hope I'll have a nice time here. :)

Surprisingly, I haven't bought anything from the holiday collection. But it is a beautiful collection.
