BUT Good News For Heroine Fans


Well.....well. I have some good news (Great news for me) and some not some good news (memories of standing in long lines and long endless hold times in the wait room spring to mind during the RiRi Fall rollout) for folks who are hoping for a better rollout of the RiRi Holiday Collection.
I just spoke to someone from the MAC corporate office (800-387-6707) to inquire what, if anything, MAC intends to do differently this time to roll out the final Rihanna collection this year. The company received a ton of calls from angry Mac fans who complained that the collection was sold out withing 30 minutes. From what I was told, there was a meeting in which customer service reps had an opportunity to share with execs the nature of the calls they had received during the Fall collection. The corporate office was flooded with calls. (No surprise here, I'm sure.) from folks (Mac employees and fans) who were pissed that stores were not properly stocked to handle the anticipated demand for at least the first day. Outcome: Nothing! Its business as usual. Execs say, this will be a limited edition collection (no %$#@ Sherlock) , and by its very nature, quantities will be very limited AGAIN. So, that means that the company has learned nothing.Be prepared to get up at an ungodly hour to go to the mall and stand in line waiting for stores to open. No decision had been made to increase production. Many of us had hoped they would do it this time around because it is the holiday season. Nope. Some MAC stores will be opening two hours early on launch day, so you may want to confirm if the MAC store near will open early. Note: This does not apply to the department stores.

Breaking news to all of the Heroine fans on Specktra: The corporate office says it will be back ??????. (Spectktra members can PM me for the exact date) Not sure if it will be limited edition again. Price: $15 (stay away from the $100 Fake offers on Ebay) I, for one, am shocked, stunned and most of all EXCITED. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!

I, for one, am shocked by the re-introduction of Heroine. I have included the MAC corporate number for those of you who are inclined to doubt me 800-387-6707. Let's hope they produce enough of Heroine this time. Fingers crossed.

I mean was I hoping for too much when I thought this collection would go out with a BANG? Like was I crazy dreaming when I thought they might bring back all the lipsticks and maybe every item ever released plus some new ones so that Santa could buy everything for me and put it all in my stocking? I mean I have been a very good girl this year.

No girl, I was right there with you or maybe we are both crazy...I think its absolutely ridic that HK was the only thing that made a 2nd appearance...like really? I was hoping for some kinda finishing powder finally fit for WOC but oh well.

Correction,Your right in store. Im thankful I went to the early release last time. I only picked up ttt, but after seeing reviews about nude I was able to pick it up official date. If you are in Toronto during the launch, go to the blood street location. I got the after 1pm on the launch date (because I had a doctors appointment. A real one) they did not have a crazy line and still had large quantity in all the item. Girl I illegally parked the car, made it in the store and out before the cops came ( dont judge me, I see you shaking your head). The mac made me do it.

Ha ha ha! No judgement here, I've done the same for fashion launches! That's SO good to know it will probably be in MAC for the 5th. I live in the East End, so I'll be able to hit up Sherway, Yorkdale, and maybe Square One if I need to! Just a couple weeks away, ladies!!

If I not at work that day. I will be going to the good old pickering mall location. For the ladies that live on the east side of the GTA. Oshawa Town Centre now has a MAC counter in The Bay lower level.

I just contacted the Scarbrough Town location (since it an actually store),they said that the date was still the 12th. But to check back the last week of November, if they push the date forward last minute. Like they did last time.

I hope Mac doesn't do that again it's not right ..hopefully the 5th is just online and 12th everywhere else like other collections are released. I don't bother with counters just the store

I think that my all fired up and pleasure bomb are close enough, for me to skip the collection, and not deal with the nonsense. I had enough. I had thought rebel was nothing like heaux, and on the lips they are the same! just different formula. On the hand, nope, but too similar on the lips.

I second that Copperhead. RiRi Woo is an amazing color. I would recommend it to anyone that loves red lipsticks. Every time I wear it I'm reminded of why I bought it. I was so pleased with the color that I bought two BUs.

I going to get it. I just want to make sure I line thing up right. The regular packaging is still available online. So I'm not worried. I have to make sure I riri holiday item and punk couture first. Enablers!!

Yeah I don't know if I've ever seen a red that looks good on EVERYONE that I've seen it on. I've never seen it on anyone in person other than myself but be it Specktra, instagram, it looks good on everyone.
