I just want those inserts for my pressed pigments. I was a bad girl and depoted mine :( which I regret so hopefully these inserts will help. I need to learn how to depot those ED eyeshadows I only have four so that's a really good idea putting them in a quad :)

Why do you regret depotting the pressed pigments ? None of them broke? They'd be awesome in a palette but scared to depot mine

I think pressed pigments depot just fine, they are in pans. The ED eyeshadows on the other hand are not it a pan and they tend to be a mess. They crumble a bit around the edges and that weird grate thing on the bottom is not so easy to deal with. Mineralized eyeshadows are also not is pans, they are on a stone type of things because they are baked, but they hold together just fine so depotting them isn't a big deal.

I'd love to depot mine, but I can't see that ending well. I've depotted lots of e/s with no problem whatsoever, but I'm going to leave my EDES alone.

I ordered my blush palettes/inserts; they should be here tomorrow. Twelve less singles in my drawer = More space + 2 new lippies!

Not that it's a big deal but I noticed something interesting....for some reason they aren't giving the pro discount on the pro Longwear inserts but still give the discount on all other inserts and palettes. Just thought that was random. Same price so wonder why they are excluding those

I bought the palette and insert and my pro store and got the discount

Aren't they Silver Dawn and Amorous Alloy?
I dunno. I haven't been following that thread closely. I'm not a huge fan of the EDES, and I've already said my piece when it comes to MAC charging the full price for the small shadows, sooo, no shadows for me.

I depotted all of mine this summer and had a huge solo depotting party. I'm due for another one!

Don't tell me this ! Lol a palette of pressedpigments would be heaven what method did you use
I depotted them exactly like I do the regular ones. I just clipped the front with wire cutters and dripped alcohol under the pan (which I learned from you wonderful ladies here at Specktra), but the glue on the pressed pigments is a lot weaker than the glue on the regular eyeshadows. The pans come out really easily, even without alcohol.

My palettes and blush inserts arrive today. I HATE them. The fit of the insert is so flimsy compared to the old style. I depotted one blush, tested, and glued it right back into its original case.

Just no.

These are going right back.

Mine fit perfect! Well....I put mine in my double palette...not sure if the insert fit is off on the single although you would think that it shouldn't be. BUT...some of the eye shadow inserts fit loose. They don't come out or anything but they aren't snug...you can make them knock a little. Poor fit but like I said, nothing falls out and the insert doesn't fall out. Sorry yours isn't working out for you

Yes, that's exactly it. When you pick up the palette the inside rattles a bit in it. It just doesn't feel secure so I'm not prepared to depot a lot of blushes and put them into what feels like flimsy packaging.

I definitely prefer the old palettes.

Oh ok. If you're using the single palette (I notice this knock in the single, but not the double) then I can say that out of the 5 or 6 palettes that I have filled so far I haven't had single issue with anything coming out or anything. All of them don't have this knock ironically...so this really has to be related to poor mass produced issues. But I travel with these palettes in my kit regularly and no issues. Nothing has broken, dropped out, nada. Not sure if that would put you at ease at all but I just thought I'd share that little bit with you.
