WTF

Horrible.

I have 1 Nordstrom, 3 Macys, and 1 Mac Store

in one mall we have 1 freestanding store, and a counter in Nordstrom.
in another mall we have 1 freestanding store
and in another mall there's just a counter in Nordstrom.
and a freestanding store in downtown.

i'm sure there's more but these are the ones i go to.

I only have my mac in macys. I think closet mac store is an hour and a half away? The next mac in a Macy's near me I think is about 30-40 min away from me

I've got you all beat. I lived in a city that had a FS store, and 3 counters. Now, my closest counter or store is a 4+ hour drive, in either direction. :-(

I'm going home next weekend for the first time in months. I'll be doing so much shopping, for everything, not just makeup. I need to make lists now lol.

When we lived in Alaska we had ONE MAC store in the whole STATE. And it was inside a Nordstrom. It was 7 hours drive away. I loved being stationed there but I'm glad we PCS'd. I don't need to exclusively stalk online now.

I bought Studded Kiss, Instigator, and Punk Couture. That is one less collection to fight over next month. Thank you Nordstroms. Now all I need to do is to get my hands on Heroine and I will be happy.

Yes!!! That's why I did it. All I need is heroine and I'm getting a few (too much ) things from riri's holiday collection. Then viva glam next year lol. I want to take a break, but they keep making stuff I like lol

So I got an update on my shipping. They are sending me my samples already. Sent shipping tracking and everything. Allegedly the lippys are coming separately (knew that) but yay this means orders won't be cancelled right!!?!

Not necessarily lol. Nordies sends the samples even if they cancel the orders. Samples are shipping separate because the lippies are pre-orders and not available now but the samples are. It's like when people were receiving their samples separate or receiving them despite their lippies being canceled. Not for is just like that...they'll still give you the samples. I wouldn't assume anything based off of that. I wouldn't worry either though. You have awhile before the lippies are expected to ship anyway so to worry about them canceling is going to drive you crazy. Hope for the best and just keep and eye out for your emails. Worst case scenario is that you need to be ready to order from Mac's release just in case but I'm sure if Nordies were to cancel they would do so by then....unless they ended up taking too many pre-orders and had to cancel some due to low inventory.

My local Macy's doesn't sale MAC either. Glad to know that we weren't the only ones treated like MAC deprived stepchildren lol

The Macy's in the mall nearest me doesn't, but the one in the mall that's really far from me does. Guess I'm lucky that the mall close to me has a Dillard's and a Nordstrom in it.

When I ordered Ronnie Red backups, Nordstrom sent 3 samples then subsequently said they can't fulfill the order because they just didn't have any RR left. I never got charged for it. I called and ask about the samples and they said I don't have to return it. Not saying anyone's order will be cancelled, just be ready for anything and expect anything

We have a Nordstrom and a Dillard's in Barton Creek mall that both have counters. The Macy's in Lakeline mall has a counter, not sure if there are any other counters in there or not as it's like 40 minutes from me and I don't like traveling to North Austin. Lol. There is also a free standing store in The Domain that I rarely venture to as it's up north and far as well. I wish they'd put more freestanding stores up, there should be MAC on every corner if you ask me.

Same here! I got it last night. I was so f'ing excited until I was able to fully read the email. My samples (yay--sarcasticly) are coming. Lippie to follow on Dec. 23rd. (whatever). Still happy that I placed my order.
