MAC Punk Couture Collection (December 26, 2013)

I want to get Sin as well, but I also want to get an Ipad Air (I know not makup related at all) and the rest of my money this month I want to save up for the lippies in the RiRi Holiday collection. I think I'll add Sin to the list for next month. I already paid for my Punk Couture cp, so I think I'll have some extra money at the end of december that I could spend on some perm items.
I love you in those brighter reds too, but I'm glad you now also like to wear shades like Diva!

Thanks. Definitely check out Sin before buying Diva. IMHO the two are alike with Sin just being a LITTLE darker. Both are matte in finish too.

OK, ladies and gents, it's ALL YOUR FAULT!

Yesterday I ordered all four lipsticks and all three lipglasses from Nordstrom.

Now all i have to worry about in December is Magnetic Nudes, since i'm skip-skip-skipping RiRi.

I have to order Sin online, so I want to wait until I have some more items I would like to order (or I have the money to order them

), but I really like that it's a bit darker and I love the matte finish of course.

I know right it always happens when collections come out...I had to use my BF card for the RiRi Fall Launch. I think my Debit Card keeps running away out of fear of me spending too much $$$ on MAC LOL

Temptalia's swatches of Hautecore are up. I'm not too impressed at all.

Looks like I'll be skipping that as the black I already have applies much better.

I found all the collection EXCEPT the eye shadow palette on Nordstrom. I think i don't need neon pigments (altho perhaps i could be convinced), but maybe i should get a BU of Punk Couture lipstick... Blue-violets R us!

Also, one photo of the collection includes a dark Nail Lacquer -- either off-black or blackened purple -- but i haven't heard of one... anybody know?

I may back up PC also. I'm going to wait and order my b/u when MAC releases it online, but if for some reason I miss it at least I ordered it from Nordstrom. I love Blue-Violets!!!!! I still want more.

Yep, the transaction is pending on my account from Nordstrom. I don't think they will cancel any orders. It would be too much of a hassle to refund everyone who has already ordered.

Now that the word is out, I hope our members get to order what they want before the lurkers/resellers

OK, looked at the photo of the full collection and there are THREE Nail Lacquers
--- one looks like a black creme
--- one looks like Mean & Green
--- one looks like a cross between neon pink and neon orange

Unless, as MAC sometimes does, they're promoting perm colors...

I take a break from the site for a few days and miss so much. I did preorder mine hopefully M doesn't go canceling orders like they did for the RiRi collection. Especially since they are probably getting a large volume of orders from lurkers.

I agree. In fact, the swatch of Hautecore on the model looks blotchy and uneven. It reminds me of all of the trouble Specktrarettes have had trying to get TTT to work.

Yeah, but I've noticed that the promo pics like this usually are to some degree. They're really only good for getting a somewhat general idea of how the collection will look as they never seem to be all that colour accurate.

I know.. but the rest of the promo pic is more accurate. The purple lippies don't even have the slightest hint of purple.. maybe it's my monitor but I see burgundy and blue-green.

It might be our monitors, I see red, burgundy, dark grey and black, definitely no purples. lol
