I just looked on the Melt website and they are "Sold Out" of all the colors that interest me -- and some that don't. I don't know when they're going to re-stock.

Yes those sold out awhile ago.... Their suppose to be coming out with some new shades which includes a black and possibly a hunter green or teal color and restocking the other color although they haven't officially told a date

I'm getting Hautecore solely for the purpose of darkening other lipsticks. I doubt I'll ever wear it alone.

So I decided to skip the preorder and brave the counter on the 26th since I'm off for the holidays for 2 weeks anyway. I figured it was one less chance of someone else's order possibly getting cancelled, which I really hope doesn't happen. Praying to the makeup Gods that everybody gets what they want from this collection. On another note, has anyone heard of mac at macys doing another thanksgiving midnight collection release like they did last year for taste temptations?

I don't think so but that would be nice if they were doing this collection that way!

I also skipped the Preorder....i can wait since i have PC. I will want backups of it though for sure.....I'm not pleased in the black lipstick or that red one! and all this time whoever posted those pictures of Carnal Instincts got me excited about that one just to find out i have to wait for that collection to drop so lol!

She says: "...it is pretty dark, but I wouldn’t call it true black. On me, I see a deep, blackened purple.
I also expected it to be a flat matte, but I see a hint of shine.
It’s still neat, though. I definitely like how smooth it is, and it’s not as patchy as other black lipsticks I’ve tried."

So i'm not deciding negatively until i actually try it myself. It will probably work just fine on me, as have other lipsticks called "patchy".

I'm glad someone agrees with me. Many people seem to be super excited for a black lipstick and I just can't be enthusiastic about it. Not my cup of tea! 

More Hautecore for everyone else as I just can't do it! I'm really out there when it comes to lippies but I just can't!

Same thing happened to me! I'm interested in a handful that are sold out, and a few that are available, but I wouldn't want to place multiple orders.

Don't bother reading them as they are really nothing new. Once swatches start coming we will all forget about it and concentrate on stalking . Like you said we are family.

Yes, it's releasing on Black Friday as well as with this collection.

We're family, the holidays are coming, so someone is going to say soemthing that starts some shizz and we have a knock down drag out and everybody start to cry or scream or throw food. Then we get over it, we all do a group hug and mow down some turkey.

I will refrain from my ideas on the code thing since we are letting the past be the past.

Now we're back on topic, is there a true black lipstick out there similar to what we think Hautecore will look like, that has a good matte finish, doesn't dry the shizznit out of the lips and doesn't cost more than $40? I am open to ANY brand, indie, dept. store or Kameapart blue light special section???
