Nordies must of gotten in trouble for the pre-sale because the PC lippies have been removed from the site and the Studded Kiss in my cart now says unavailable. I hope they honour all the preorders!

I'm trying to be optimistic I wish I knew for sure lol. If they did get taken down I don't think they would cancel orders, the items were up for a few days

It tripped me out I guess because I was just on the site maybe an hour ago buying something non PC related, removed SK from my cart and put it back in for it to now be unavailable. I'm hoping it's just what LiliV says.

Just received my free samples from my preorder. The samples got shipped first. I hope they won't cancel all the pre-orders.

In my Order History tab it still shows as "In Process" with the 23rd as a ship date. Maybe they sold out? I know w Nordstrom when things sell out they remove them completely, no "sold out" sticker or anything

Mine says the same, I ordered PC and Instigator.

Those are the 2 I got as well! I'm just thinking sold out is a possibility bc of how anticipated these colors are, I didn't expect them to last long even if it is only on pre-order

I really don't think there's a way they'd have enough stock for the volume of pre-orders that probably happened.

I'm really excited for this collection, but I can't even imagine MAC having enough stock available for the online buying crowd. I DO think it's going to be easier to get these lipsticks at local stores - there may not be a lot of stock, but black lipstick and blue purple lipsticks aren't for the walk-in shopping crowd in a lot of parts of the country. If you really, really need the lippies, calling up a store in some place way out in the suburbs and having them mail them directly to you is probably going to work just fine.

Also, look at the equivalent collections like Iris Apfel - those colors came back, either as repromotes or as new, similar ones. This isn't the last we're going to see of colors like these in 2014.

I doubt it. I preordered multiple times with tem and they honored it...luckily. I think they just take it down once they reach their limit. I preordered heroine liners about a month before the tropical taboo collection came out and still got them when it released. I also did it when they restocked nude and ttt. I thought they would cancel but got them all :-D Fingers crossed for all of us !

I actually plan on buying in store so I have them right then and there since I am so excited about this collection. I also agree about it probably not selling out in stores really fast since these are colours that not a lot of people are going to be out and about in Nordies or Dillard's looking for. Not to mention it will be over shadowed by RiRi coming out right before and will not even get half of the publicity that collection is/has been getting. Maybe I'm being overly hopeful, but I'm not thinking I'm going to walk into my MAC store on the 26th and find an empty display. lol

I agree, if it was Mac.com I would worry but with Nordstrom I think it'll be fine and even if they did take the items down they'll honor the pre-orders. Also I could be wrong but weren't the early order cancellations only on the RiRi collections? Which to my knowledge were also the only collections to have a specific launch hour rather than day. I just feel like what went on with the RiRi collections can really be applied to other ones since it was such a different set up

I also have a mix of a coon (I think) and a calico(I think). I also had a calico for about 11 years. She died two years ago. All my kitties were strays I found or my mom's friend found and brought them to me. I love kitties. They are such beautiful creatures. Keep us posted on a name and I want to see pictures! This is a shot from a video I took of her and my son playing. Her name will be Isabelle but I'll be calling her izzy I feel her and I were meant to be. I won't "buy" because I've always wanted to adopt with how many are in shelters and to find her in a shelter for adoption was just too good to be true

It'd be really crappy of them if they didn't and I'm hoping they do honour them and don't pull a MAC and penalize everyone saying we were "hacking their site and caused the product to be put up earlier than intended".

Honestly...either when shipment notifications go out or (let's hope this doesn't happen) when cancelation notices go out. It's the only way anyone is going to know.
