WOC can mean so many things. My sister is a "Pale Patty" with a pink undertone. It may look awesome on her and then go LEFT when it gets to my tone. I need to see it on someone close to my color. Hmmmm....what color are y'all? Haha...
That's so true. Sometimes I think undertone matters more than skintone itself. I've seen girls deeper than me rock Snob and Pink Nouveau but on me they're a hot mess. I'm around an NC42 but less orange more olive.

RiRi Holiday Collection-Get ready to stand in LONG lines early in the morning AGAIN and be pissed once more!!!!!! Corporate marketing strategy is BAU
BUT Good News For Heroine Fans

>Well.....well. I have some good news (Great news for me) and some not some good news (memories of standing in long lines and long endless hold times in the wait room spring to mind during the RiRi Fall rollout) for folks who are hoping for a better rollout of the RiRi Holiday Collection.

I just spoke to someone from the MAC corporate office (800-387-6707) to inquire what, if anything, MAC intends to do differently this time to roll out the final Rihanna collection this year. The company received a ton of calls from angry Mac fans who complained that the collection was sold out withing 30 minutes. From what I was told, there was a meeting in which customer service reps had an opportunity to share with execs the nature of the calls they had received during the Fall collection. The corporate office was flooded with calls. (No surprise here, I'm sure.) from folks (Mac employees and fans) who were pissed that stores were not properly stocked to handle the anticipated demand for at least the first day. Outcome: Nothing! Its business as usual. Execs say, this will be a limited edition collection (no %$#@ Sherlock) , and by its very nature, quantities will be very limited AGAIN. So, that means that the company has learned nothing.Be prepared to get up at an ungodly hour to go to the mall and stand in line waiting for stores to open. No decision had been made to increase production. Many of us had hoped they would do it this time around because it is the holiday season. Nope. Some MAC stores will be opening two hours early on launch day, so you may want to confirm if the MAC store near will open early. Note: This does not apply to the department stores.

Breaking news to all of the Heroine fans on Specktra: The corporate office says it will be back ??????. (Spectktra members can PM me for the exact date) Not sure if it will be limited edition again. Price: $15 (stay away from the $100 Fake offers on Ebay) I, for one, am shocked, stunned and most of all EXCITED. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!

I, for one, am shocked by the re-introduction of Heroine. I have included the MAC corporate number for those of you who are inclined to doubt me 800-387-6707. Let's hope they produce enough of Heroine this time. Fingers crossed.

yes heroine is back and it will be a permanent color it was announced a couple of months back. . As far as riri collection i never expected them to make more product for the last riri collection of this year. That is the reason why it is called limited edition. It really is about luck if someone is able to get the products they want. Standing in line and being early will be something i will be doing again. At least the one product item helps a little.

Thanks for the info.

You're local.....all the DMV folk need to band together and hit all the local MAC stores/stands so everyone gets what they want.
That would be a good idea we could keep each other company waiting in line for these crazy launches and maybe even get backups for each other (in cases where we can only purchase one of an item) I'm located in Baltimore county. I have to skip this launch cause I used the last of my PTO on the Fall RiRi launch unfortunately it will be the waiting room for me. But ladies keep me in the loop for after the new year!

Having seen this, I think BGRR may be a skip. It's pretty but not unique and with so much stuff coming I could put that $ towards something else.

I'd have to agree that neither BGRR or PB are that unique, BUT (and remember I try to be the anti-enabler as much as I can) they're both particularly nice and classy versions of their types of colors. The formula is awesome on both too. I was going to skip them but when I tried them on, I had to flip my skip over to buy. If you're more of an olive undertone, you really are going to like BGRR - it'll probably pull out the rose undertones in the lipstick and brighten up your face really well.

You should try having your delivery stopped at UPS so you can just pick it up there. Sign up for UPS MyChoice and choose Hold for Pickup when your order comes through. Easy as pie. (Pie is actually quite difficult if you're making the crust from scratch. Ignore that part.)
great suggestion for people that had their items stolen

So true!! I assume I'm a WOC because one I'm brown and two I'm half black. But I see it used for darker women mostly so I get super confused!! I'm nc43-45 I can't ever remember I wear face and body c5, which I think I'm over and will be trying a new foundation

Libaaa why do you do this to me lol? I guess it's going back on my list then. I need to cut something somewhere. I hope I don't like both of the new EDSF's so I don't have to feel too guilty about all the new lipsticks.

Had to join this thread! Im loving rihannas makeup in her what now video, it got me thinking about skipping the past riri collections. I can't stand retro mattes, I wanted nude but im paler than pale so that was never going to work for me... I've seen Bgr is a matte though so there might be hope for me getting a slice of the action yet! I actually quite like how cheap the double ended brush looks lol! I so fancy the makeup bag, it looks so retro to me!

See I'm glad I'm not alone on this. Okay I'm not really brown but if I'm half black does that make me WOC? I'm pretty pale though for a "mixed" person (NC30-35 ish but in the summer I can be NC 40). I'm confused as well.
