RiRi Hearts MAC Holiday Collection (December 12, 2013)

  Wow, I just went to the MAC site from my comp instead of my phone and was all kinds of overwhelmed by RiRi's close up semi cleavage. For some reason when seeing it on the comp screen it made me go :shock: . LOL

I thought I was the only one...

I'm surprised counters are doing pre orders. I think someone said during the fall collection that the people at the counter sold the pre orders because they found out they weren't allowed and they had a sizable crowd that was ticked. I'm going to try online tomorrow and then again on the 12th. Glad and sad that this is the last of it. Stalking and swapping stories has been fun.

I wish my counter would even let me pre order. The person I spoke to (a manager at the counter) said she didn't even know anything about the collection launching next week. I had to pull up twitter and show her what it said. I am so frustrated. I don't want to show up ass crack early to Macy's to them not have them.

I will say I was surprised they let me order with my bank card- they usually only take Macy's cards...I'll bet that manager was playing dumb or (no offense) I just honestly dont understand how they are a manager and have no knowledge of a new collection 1 week out (let alone this collection!).

It really kills me when Im talking to a SA @ MAC who is giving false info or knows less than me about products or their names...I want to strangle them on the spot! (1/2 kidding)

I think PB is the new TTT...the chase has yet to commence and I already loathe it!

It's worth it to ask if they will let you- I thought I read on a couple of occasions that pre sales were totally outlawed across the board for the Fall launch... I was devastated that morning @ Macy's to learn otherwise. I think its just Macys....Saks in my city wasn't allowing it (although 3 weeks after the release they did get a restock of lippies and let me buy over the phone) and my freestanding MAC store did not do it. I think those stores will be the same this time around. I just hope Macy's doesnt cave in with the crowds next week and decide to sell my purchase!....As that thought crosses my mind... Im gonna be there 1st thing in the morning to pick it up!

Yes, all of the counters near me refused pre-orders for Riri Fall. I remember there was some drama at a counter when those in line couldn't get items (I don't remember who, or where that was, but it was a ticked crowd for sure).

Don't worry, there will be more MAC stalking (and swapping stories) for many, many upcoming collections I'm sure!

Ya'll were making me break out into a cold sweat over this Rihanna stuff, but then I read the comment about counters only getting 3 of each lipstick. It reminded me of the Fall launch and how I only got 2 lipsticks and nothing else that I wanted. One of the lipsticks I ordered from some place in the middle of nowhere and the other lipstick, I got by accident (because my local MAC eventually got a restock on some items).

I was SOOO hoping MAC planned to do better this time around.
