Well, that was ridiculous. PB and BGRR were sold out in like 20 min. I was gonna go on launch day to get them but now I'm rethinking that, as well. I think I just want them because they're impossible to get and that's exactly the strategy. If these lipsticks were coming out in any other collection would I even look at them? A bright pink and a mauve? Maybe, but I damn sure wouldn't go out of my way for them. But now, because they're so limited, I want them just to have them. I feel kinda dumb.
But anyway, I hope everyone else is able to get what they want through the department stores and MAC store release.

Like you mentioned in another post, it is times like this that people need to email MAC the links to the eBay pages grossly gouging the prices of THEIR products for resale. If I was a company I would be pissed...UNLESS these people reselling are MAC 'contractors' putting these auctions up on purpose to help drive up the demand for future collections. However, if that were the case, them increasingly LOWERING the stock for these launches makes no sense.I DID call MAC CS & let them know what I thought about the Riri no product gimmickThe first lady put me through to an upper management lady that was EXTREMELY nice to me
Got the usual 'we'll send your comments on to corporate' thing. I said they did that last time & it did NO good because MAC went ahead & did the same old quantity/waiting room crap again. I said you need to tell corporate that they are disrespectful to their own consumer base.
Anyhow....both the lady that answered the phone & the management lady confessed to me that they both tried to order & couldn't get through/get what they wanted. Amusing to me

You know what. I don't think I will buy anything from this collection at all. It's really messed up that quantities were so limited. Crazy thing is nothing from this collection screams MUST HAVE. Let's be honest. How many of these Pleasure Bombs has MAC come out with? Or other brands for that matter. How many nude lippies are out there. I'm just over this shit. I'm starting to wonder if the waiting room is just a front. How can some people get in and order two times and others can't even get to the collection? Internet speed should not have everything to do with it. It should be in what order "shop the collection" was clicked. Like a ticket number. If Foot Locker can do it when Jordans are released, so can MAC. This is bullshit.

I looked at the posts, & I think it sold out in probably 8 minutes! They intentionally did not have stock.

I think all the drama changed my mind and I'm gonna sit out the release on the 12th.
I'm guessing anyone feeling the same and looking for dupes can try Double Shot and Girl About Town. I've been stalking blogs and Temptalia has all the dupes listed as well.
There's always Punk Couture and I do still want Hautecore and Instigator.

I think that "queue" is bullshit. I think they pull people at random to be honest. There is no way Customer #457 can get in and order TWO times when Customer #349 didn't even select their items yet.

nope...there is no que. It's just the luck of the draw on when your device refreshes and if there is capacity to get you in there. It absolutely does not go in some type of order like we all thought it would. They just like to make it seem like it does.
