I haven't been buying much MAC lately but I have, unfortunately, replaced it with buying Swarovski jewelry.
Not sure if you know this, but Swarovski isn't real natural crystal as in crystals that came out of the ground or rocks. It's just very high quality synthetic glass! I'm telling you this because my parents were in the habit of buying very very expensive figurines from them years ago and they were very disappointed when I told them that these things weren't mined rocks. A lot of people don't know that and therefore pay those ridiculous prices. I used to like their jewellery as well (before I learnt that they were glass from my glass professor) but it seems that they don't last very well, you tend to lose the tiny bits over time, the settings tarnish and also, you're not supposed to wash them with soap because it yellows the jewellery (I learnt that the hard way).

I'm always so bored this time of year with MAC when there is like nothing going on for two months after the Holiday collection launches but before the winter ones come in. I haven't spent any money on MAC since the end of October and don't ask me why, but I'm feeling uncomfortable like I'm missing something important!

But do I need it if I already have Dark Diversion and Past Twilight? How many fluidlines in that colour range does one girl need? (especially as I haven't even got blacktrack yet!)

I bought one ring from them a few years ago and during it's maiden voyage it lost two of the little "crystals" in the setting just being on my finger! Over the years it has lost about 5 more just randomly which really ticked me off since the dumb thing was not cheap. It was my first and last purchase.

EDSF's and Autoerotique!!! I've been searching hashtags on Instagram like crazy coz I have nothing better to do lol
After waiting so long for swatches I took the blushes off my list. I really wanted more pics of Pleasure Model too but I don't really need it. That may change pending swatches if they show up lol

It's closer to Past Twilight, but it's muuuuch purpler. It's not a burgundy like DD, it's a mid-tone mauve brown with a cool edge to it - almost a brown blurple in some lights. It's going to be so beautiful on. I'm going to back it up.

Very much so!!! I think it'll definitely work better as a base (or bottom lashline) too, rather than a liner. All these colours of fluidlines that mac has been coming out with anymore work better as a base or smudged on the bottom lashline as opposed to the top lashline. Maybe it's just me, but anything other than black, dark brown or deep purple just doesn't sit right as a liner for every day, unless you're doing a specific bold look.

Can't wait to try that out!

I've pretty much come to expect these are better as bases, especially the ones with sparkle. I figure they will probably be a little harder to work with as a liner on the top lash line. Shouldn't they just make more paint pots then?

I know, but I'm trying to be semi sensible. 2 of the 3 f/ls I own are at least vaguely brown/purple.

There ya go, I only use these as liners, so pretty as it is I don't need it. Right?
