Can't wait to try that out! I've pretty much come to expect these are better as bases, especially the ones with sparkle. I figure they will probably be a little harder to work with as a liner on the top lash line. Shouldn't they just make more paint pots then?
Exactly! I have all the PPs with the exception of the silver one, so I'm pretty set on bases. No need to buy liners to use as bases unless you don't have a base that colour already.
I know, but I'm trying to be semi sensible. 2 of the 3 f/ls I own are at least vaguely brown/purple. Stop it!! There ya go, I only use these as liners, so pretty as it is I don't need it. Right?
I've stopped buying the glittery ones too. I never did get the olive one from DN. I'll only buy them if they're matte and i can use em as a liner.

Funnily enough, that's the third of my three. I use it quite a bit on days when I want a bit of definition but not a super obvious liner. Kinda the way I use UD Mushroom (which is one of my faves)

Awe really? :( I need something to replace my Avenue f/l. I def don't need anymore bases.
Very much so!!! I think it'll definitely work better as a base (or bottom lashline) too, rather than a liner. All these colours of fluidlines that mac has been coming out with anymore work better as a base or smudged on the bottom lashline as opposed to the top lashline. Maybe it's just me, but anything other than black, dark brown or deep purple just doesn't sit right as a liner for every day, unless you're doing a specific bold look.

It's totally dark enough for the upper lash line, if you're not planning on wearing false lashes or strong eyeshadow along with it…at least for fairer skins. Then, you have to take into account that the shade is a smashing blend of brown and purple that will look AMAZE-BALLS smudged on the lower lash line or all around the eye, including on deeper skin tones. That way will create just the perfect shadowy look, without getting all smoked out. Just an amazing near-neutral, that's better than a plain neutral all around.

Can you tell I'm crazy excited for it? :p When I saw the swatch, it jumped out at me like a magical makeup unicorn!

If you're trying to be conservative about how much you buy, go check it out in person first. You'll easily be able to see if this is something you will go bananas about or not. I know I sure had an immediate response to it….

One lipglass and one lipstick swatch from BBB! Finally some more pics. I hope she has some other product because she mentions in her review that she got a couple of products, and that can't be only one lipstick and gloss, right?! http://www.britishbeautyblogger.com/2013/12/mac-magnetic-nudes.html
Thanks for sharing! I wasn't interested in any of the lipglasses but this looks like it will pair great with that caramel nude lipstick! (Sensual sparks?)

I'll have to say, I've been moving away from black liner for a while, at least since this past year. I've been LOVING a look with a mid-tone liner like Midnight Snack or Added Goodness, or lately Deliciously Rich, where I still wing it out and use a very neutral shadow along with it that's slightly warmer in tone, then just use plenty of black mascara on the upper lashes. I pair it with a strong lip like FOD! This eye look is nice with a more enhanced blush, like Ripe For Love or Blazingly Haute, and keep the lips nearly bare, with just some balm. It's a punchy look, but very soft compared to the more 60's retro of black liner. The glitter or shimmer in something like Deliciously Rich or Stares & Speculations works on the upper lid in that context very well (although if I add shadow, I tend to stick to something more matte or with slight sheen).  However, It's Physical is a bit darker than stuff like Added Goodness, S&S, etc. plus it's totally matte - no shimmer or glitter at all. So that's exciting!! Hmmm. Both the colour description and my swatch have shimmer :hmm: weird. I'll have to check it out again in person. Either way it's definitely a stunning colour!

Woah! I wasn't expecting to like the eyeshadows as much as I do! I've got to save some money for this collection. I'm wanting all the face products (skin finishes and blushes), now adding some of the eyes too!

Thank you soooo much @erine1881

I'm Loving Pleasure Model I do hope it will show up on my NW47 complexion.

I'm really looking for a pretty dusty rose pink lipstick or gloss that will look similar to this...

I hope I can find it in this collection (I got the pic from Pinterest it says its Tom Ford Pink Dusk but its obviously more than just that lipstick). Any Suggestions Ladies?
