RiRi Hearts MAC Holiday Collection (December 12, 2013)

Well I'm grateful my one little order of RRW managed to ship today! Maybe in the future I'll skip the MAC website launch and wait for the lipsticks to go live on other sites instead. Hearing about things disappearing from people's carts and orders is really making this whole thing sound like a game of russian roulette or something.

Since my Punk Couture order shipped from Nordstrom I was thinking my RiRi order from MAC shipped as well. Wishful thinking, my RiRi stuff is still pending.

the macys I go to they actually charge the items just like a regular sale transaction, only that we are not allowed to take the items out the store till the 12 or anytime after. Its a pre sale meaning u have to actually pay upfront pick up later, different from a hold. Last collection I didn't pick up my order till a month later.

I just got my shipping confirmation. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that someone slips up and puts a PB and BGRR in there by "accident." I'm really not trying to stalk, but I'll do what I have to do to get my lippies. For those that preordered this collection at department stores- will they hold your purchase until you can get there, or will they hold something but if you're not there early they sell to someone else?

Thanks. The MA at the counter I usually go to said that they weren't doing pre orders, but she wrote down what I wanted and said she would hold them for me. I had planned to be at the store on Thursday at opening, but I have to work the early shift that day. I'll have to email her to make sure, or ask her to give my stuff to my friend who will be there.

I got an invite to my local bloomingdales to see this collection first next Thursday. I got excited until I realized they want me there at 8am. Yeah, no. Not making that. So that just means I know not to try that place when it really opens at 9 because everything will be gone.

For those of you whose orders have shipped, were they large or small orders? My order contained 6 items and I'm trying to determine if they are fulfilling smaller orders before larger orders.

If you haven't got a shipping confirmation, check your account in the site! I've checked both my email & account repeatedly this morning & was starting to get a little anxious over no email, so I checked & had a tracking number!! (But still no email.)

I'm not sure if that means that some emails are just delayed or if mine bounced to somewhere else, but I'm super thrilled about it! Ordered 2 lipsticks and can't wait to have them in my hot little hands!!

Just got my shipping confirmation too! PB and BGRR lippies are on their way. So relieved. It's so crazy that I managed to snag these, but I was unable to get TTT, even though I pretty much got into the waiting room at the exact same time for each launch...
