sorry guys i know im kind of out of the loop right now, but how did yall order on nordstrom? this collection isn't listed when i check.. was it just up for a day or something?

They were available for preorder on the Nordstrom website late November. My order says the 27, so either that day or the 26. Edit. Sorry it was the 21. Just checked.

Hi! Maybe I can clarify this! yesterday I got the chance to have a private lesson with the italian senior Mua and Mac PR also gave me some samples of the new collections! I have here Hautcore and Studded Kiss, on the box they are labelled Retro Matte! And I dare say they are! I also have the quad and Jet boy cremesheenglass. Superb and Silver Dawn from Magnetic Nude and Red necessity and Commotion Huggable (which is true.. their formula is soooo soft on the lips!) Sorry they strictly told me to wait until the 17 to show some pictures. Actually I have only tried the lipsticks! I'm not a black lips kind of girl.. I would have never bought Hautecore bymyself ahah.I definitely prefer it with a gloss on top..is MUCH better that way! Jet boy is really pretty over it if you like black lips of course Studded Kiss to me is Amazing! It's something between Diva and Fixed on drama I guess. But sadly I can't compare them :/

I don't own any of these so this may be a go! This actually works out because I've always wanted these, but didn't want the palette they were in. All Races, I just took my time and missed it. I'm a carbon virgin... finally this time around it feels so right. I'm mad at myself for not pre ordering. I could have got some cash back from ebates. Oh well *shrugs*. Can't wait to see swatches from those that did! I think I'm going to grab 2 PC and Instigator, 1 Hautecoure and the quad. I haven't hauled any new MAC colors since the Fashion Boost lipliner. I've been underwhelmed, but the feeling is back with this collection. Maybe I'll grab a gloss too It just dawned on me that I need to check the mall hours for the 26th. Do malls open early for the day after Christmas gift card shopping? If so, I'm going to be there when the MAC store doors open.

My hautecore from black friday is labeled as matte and it does need to set once applied. I can't wait to check out the CSG

Is the box labeled matte as well?

I just have to say thanks to erine! Several days ago she gave me very detailed advice on how to help my terminally chapped lips survive retro matte lippies. WOW! What a difference her suggestions made on the condition of my lips. I bought my first mac P&P and my lips will never be without it again! Thanks erine!

Nordstrom normally does not put up collections early for pre-orders, so this does not happen very often. Since you're from the SF, maybe you can go to Stonestown once they open the day after Christmas? There's normally not too many people there for collections early morning unless it's a major one (like Rihanna and Marilyn last year).
