Did you call Saks for Burnished Amber? My SA ordered it through her system computer from another store but I ended up taking it back when it arrived because I had found one at Bergdorf Goodman. Maybe stores have them in stock but not through the online site.

Anyway, I just received Red Brown liner and really like it with Captivante. I bought it for Enigmatique lipstick but didn't see it yesterday until after I had applied the liner so I went with Captivante. Once I got home from work, I found it in my purse. Duh! Anyway, Enigmatique is a perfect match for this liner. I'm still wondering if I need to get the other red lipsticks I had on my list. Anyway, back on topic. I wore the quint 3 days in a row during the work week. It was really great since I was so busy this week and didn't have time to think about color combos and just wanted a quick and easy neutral eye.

I'll definitely call about Burnished Amber next week. My local Saks does not carry the blushes in-store, which I
found odd. They said their NY location carries them in-store.

That's the beauty of E/S palettes. You don't have to search for individual shadows and someone has already
thought-out the color combinations! It's the best in that regard!

I just tried my initiation and i looove it. Only problem is, the shadow itself is pulling from the sides like so many of u had a problem with. Did you guys end up returning those or keeping it. I ordered mine from chanels website so its not like i can just go to the store and exchange it so idk if its a big deal or not if i keep it like that? If not ill just return it.

You're welcome! I can't wait to splurge on Chanel and not feel guilty over how much a lipstick or quad costs, though I'm sure I'll be adding to the balance. Sadly, $200 in Chanel isn't the same as $200 in MAC.

I'm getting the Charming palette for sure, but I'm on the prowl to get my first red chanel lipstick! Or two and a red nail polish to match my handbag. Lame, I know! I match most of my bags and nails and fall's mysterious polish was perfect for a bag that I never thought I would find a polish for it. So now it's time to find red lips and nails. I'm kind of excited! Lol

The bronze one is gorgeousss. Its not overly bronze its neutral enough that i just love it I know its so beautiful. And i think the first one i ordered was more pigmented. Or maybe im just bugging out over inspecting since I know Chanel has been wonky with these lol

Wow--thanks for sharing that info Smooch. I hope you like Charming! The only two Chanel red lip pies that I have are La Prècieuse & Pirate, neither of which are red-
orange. You might want to take a look at Coromandel. Have fun Chanel shopping!!!

I was just limping in the dark huge parking lot lost and scared out of my wits with aching feet but I did make it to the Dillard's Chanel counter! After tonight I think I am done with this whole make up business. I had switched a weekend day weeks ago for a co worker who wanted today off . I totally forgot and committed to the Dillard's counter event. I still decided to go after work despite the worse grueling hectic day I could image experiencing. Trying to keep my word I got there and all the entrances were closed. I couldn't find the 'purple ' entrance, wanted to asked strangers directions while at the same time totally afraid and suspicious of them! I had parked too far and all the security vehicles lights that I saw flashing was afar off . Feeling deserted and alone is one of the worse feelings one could have! Anyway, my only refreshment was a bottle of water as they were almost closing. I ended up getting Controversy lipgloss #72 and Amethyst eyeshadow for myself and the other item cannot be posted (its the Internet don't want to spoil anyone's surprise Christmas gift!) My still throbbing feet are indications that I can't keep my word all the time regardless of having the best and most honorable intentions. I found the business card with the counter's number in my pockets after I got home even tho I had attempted to search for in bag in the parking lot. I panicked and developed serious hysteria and tachycardia after I swore to AFulton just last night that no more malls for me until mid next year. BTW the TF illuminating primer and me is a no-go. I tested out the sample today and after that parking lot fiasco I was a extra greasy hot mess ( oily skin and illuminating primers is a bad combo) basic rules proves that I am not equipped for this stuff! On a more serious note, everyone please be extra careful while out during the holiday season's madness! I just saw a fully decked out all over with multi colored Christmas lights breezing past me it was hilarious and shocking to me all at once . Still baffled by the utter over the top attention seeking display. Maybe on a different day I would think its cute but not today.

Serious PTSD moment Medgal and yesterday being the anniversary of Pearl Harbor didn't help at all. I have calmed down enough now to be in love with the moisturizing texture, smooth feel and excellent pigmentation of my Controversy lipgloss ( a very befitting name ) after all that self imposed drama. It's LE so I think I will check out a few more colors before they are all sold out. The Dior lipglosses that I have don't even come close to measuring up to this wonderful formula plus best of all it appears to be long lasting!

OMG Debbs. I just looked up the lip gloss and the color is GORGEOUS! I'm not a huge user of lipgloss---purchaser yes, and then they just sit. Very tempting. I could add it to my cart along with the TF one that I have sitting there. If I do it's your fault!

Well. I did it Debbs! It was just too pretty to pass up---I ordered Controversy lipgloss. I think it will compliment my Chanel lipsticks, La Desirèe (Burgundy Red) &
L’ Impatienté (Matte Deep Plum).

Controversy # 72 Rouge Allure Gloss is a must-have! I think it will look good with Plum Attraction blush as well. That's one of the best glosses I have come up on in a while. I can't talk to anyone on lipsticks however lipgloss is a whole other issue. So happy that you got them. I can hear J. Hudson singing 'You are going to love them ' on the highest notes , lol . Can't wait to hear your thoughts when they arrive!

I also ordered the Chanel angled powder brush #2---not that I need another makeup brush---but I collect them and that is unique to anything that I have---at least that's
how I justify it.
