RiRi Hearts MAC Holiday Collection (December 12, 2013)

I have an idea for newbies... if you're truly coming around to be a part of our community, learn, contribute, make friends, etc... Join and create an account. Start interacting. Ask questions. Post your opinions. Then, after a couple of new collections (which will go VERY quickly given the quantity MAC releases), you'll have plenty enough posts to make everyone feel secure and that you are truly a member, not just a "hit it and quit it" visitor. Even Spectra's clearance bin has a 50 post and time requirement so people here feel safe to deal with you. It's sort of the same principle. Certainly you can understand that no one means to make you feel unwelcome or excluded. BUT there is an expected etiquette in all things in life. It's the polite and nice thing to do to not just feel it's OUR responsibility to make YOU feel welcome...but also YOUR responsibility to make US feel you are a part of our community. My very first post was offering where to find products that people couldn't get. Shouldn't that make folks feel secure? My understanding....I checked back with some, and they were in fact able to get their products. With my line of work, sitting online and waiting for releases just isn't an option, but I digress.

Damn I fell asleep at like 230 am slept thru my text alert from CC and missed the to lipsticks! Now I have to go to the damn store Thursday ! ughhhhh!!! I emailed them about changing my orders and the shipping address since google auto did it for me and I no longer live at the previous address. will they do it or do i have to call? i'm freaking out!

Haha, thats exactly whars gonna keep me awake tonight but i have gastric problem so i cant have too much coffee, hopefully it wont be too late!

I'm a fellow gastric issue sufferer & ever since it all went defunct I can't drink coffee & I used to get a Dunkin Donuts coffee every morning before work, loved...now I get sick when I smell it. The worst is waking up it the smell of it when hubs is home on weekends or is off of work. I hope the coffee did u right & u got what u wanted. Take care.

You don't need to defend yourself to me. If you've helped people & they are greatful that is wonderful. Thanks for contributing in a positive way. You shouldn't take something in a personal way that was simply written to inform and help all new Specktra members understand how to best feel welcomed into the community. If you don't feel my post applies to you, it more than likely doesn't. But it would go without saying that the less you contribute (for whatever reason that is) the more apprehensive people will be towards you until they get to know you and recognize you around the boards. I used the clearance bin as an example of a thread that is set up w restrictions until you have been a member for a certain amount of time and with a certain amount of posts. Obviously people swapping and selling wouldn't feel comfortable doing business with someone they aren't familiar with. Jumping on here and asking for things right of the bat without contributing is looked at the same way. Again, if that doesn't apply to you... Then it doesn't apply to you. It wasn't an insult. It was written to inform & assist new members. Welcome to Specktra!
