Seriously disappointed that I missed the opportunity to pre-order. BUT I am really excited for this collection. I do not have a history of loving dark lippies but thanks to all of the ladies here I have found out how really pretty they can be!!!! Looking forward to swatches and pics from everyone that was able to pre-order.

Me too! But hopefully we will get what we want when its released. Mac really bums me out sometimes I am hoping to get studded kiss and instigator.

Totally agree with you ladies about the Nordstrom samples shipping thing. A lot of times I skip samples from them bc I'm afraid of them coming in another separate shipment lol they've done that to me before with regular orders too, not preorders or anything! The extra box is unecessary and it also makes me look like "how many packages is this crazy girl getting" lol

Companies order products months in advance of them being released. Products don't arrive on release day, they usually arrive some time before so the inventory can be processed, stores/warehouses can be stocked properly, items can be tagged as necessary, etc. Nordstrom agreed to not sell the items before launch date, however, there must have been an error and the items went live online before they were supposed to.

I know you said you got your order though but your card was expired? They would probably have to create a new order for you which they probably can't now because there isn't option to sell these items at the moment and there is a note to not sell until the release date. Maybe if they would have notified within 24 hours of the issues you would have been good. It sucks!

but after speaking to numerous people yesterday (don't worry I didn't call again) they changed their story to
your order will be processed as promised on 12/23/2013 estimated. Not sure if my card was declined since it
still says in process as it has from day 1. Should I be nervous and consider this a dead end and wait to place a new
order when it launches? Hope you got through that in 1 piece lol. Thanks for sharing your opinion in advance.

P.S My card was valid through 12/2013 but I received a new one this month valid from 12/2017 which I activated so I assume the old one will no longer be good...Hmmmm I'm
so lost right now.

I have no idea. I am confused. It seems CS is confused too. lol. If you don't mind having a double charge on your card you can just leave it and wait to see what happens and make your order when it launches or you can call and cancel the order to make sure your money is credited back in time. Or you can call and verify that the card that was charged is good.

Hi! Maybe I can clarify this! yesterday I got the chance to have a private lesson with the italian senior Mua and Mac PR also gave me some samples of the new collections! I have here Hautcore and Studded Kiss, on the box they are labelled Retro Matte! And I dare say they are!
I also have the quad and Jet boy cremesheenglass. Superb and Silver Dawn from Magnetic Nude and Red necessity and Commotion Huggable (which is true.. their formula is soooo soft on the lips!) Sorry they strictly told me to wait until the 17 to show some pictures.
Actually I have only tried the lipsticks!
I'm not a black lips kind of girl.. I would have never bought Hautecore bymyself ahah.I definitely prefer it with a gloss on top..is MUCH better that way! Jet boy is really pretty over it if you like black lips of course
Studded Kiss to me is Amazing! It's something between Diva and Fixed on drama I guess. But sadly I can't compare them :/

I've been away from the computer for days, but i really need to come in here and tell you THE TEXTURE IS NOT RETRO MATTE AT ALL, PERIOD. THEY APPLY EXACTLY LIKE MATTES LIKE RIRI NUDE.
