I never looked at swatches. My ordering was only done from the names.I just got off the phone with CS as I wanted to add a non-MAC item to my order. My order is fine and is expecting to be shipped by sometime tomorrow morning. CS hinted that limits were being enforced but made it seem like this only applied if you ordered over 4 or 5 of anything and said that those that were affected would be contacted. Just hoping to ease some worry for you ladies.

They can't go by the name of the lipstick because if someone ordered bad gal and only bad gal.....she will get PB...in her order.....they are going by numbers and the warehouse may even contact ppl through email in few days to correct/fix orders....
I don't mean to argue or anything but where are you getting this from? It's pretty much the exact opposite of what Nordstrom CS told me on the phone. She told me they were going by the name you ordered, not by the swatch, and wanted me to confirm that Pleasure Bomb is what I wanted because even though I clicked on the swatch for BGRR, Pleasure Bomb is what I was being sent. I just don't want people to freak out and think their orders might be cancelled when it sounds like several people now have verified with Nordstrom CS that they're getting what they ordered.

yeah what it is that MAC wants Nordys to sell a quota of the product or what ever was in their contract....but some ppl will get their orders and some may not due to "HOW much they have to cover all orders....they need to fix over a thousand to 2 thousand orders or more ..not just 500 orders....so i dont wanna make ppl worry :) AND ...if the ppl that ordered...a lippie :bigthumb:and it got canceled right away.....you MAYBE...will still get your order....its just not an easy fix.....they went by a 'que' In their system...but we all hope it gets fixed..:):flower:
I understand this in theory but MAC can't even get their own shit together and they are going to regulate Nordies? That's laughable. :???:

It really doesn't make sense to go by the swatches. The name is the only thing that makes sense because internet swatches are wonky anyway. If your order confirmation has two specific names then that is what you should get. I doubt Nordstroms would be foolish enough to do it any other way. Swatches are a guide and that's it.

well....i had a connect chat with the director..of beauty ..through my aunt..(who works at nordys)..And she is over any CS CHAT rep......CS chat reps are last to get real updated info...they only know so much....the director knows alot more....so i was lucky to connect to her.

Not true at all. I have ordered from Nordstrom for MAC items several of times and even though they DO get their shades mixed up on the website, the item is sent by the actual name on the lipstick. If they ordered 2 PB and 1 BGRR, they should get exactly that & I know this from experience since they mix up their shades online quite frequently.
