Wearing Instigator today. I really don't buy back ups, bc I find that I don't need them but I do make an exception every now and then (Deeply Adored!) and I'm really thinking of backing up Instigator. I love this shade! I feel like it's so intense on my skintone but the red undertone makes it classic still. For anyone wondering about what to wear with it I wore a champagne shadow w a dusty purple shadow (Nars Mississippi Mermaid and Urban Decay Cult) today

Say NO to relaxers! Lol it's not worth the damage to that beautiful hair. You tell her mama but I feel your grief on $$ for blow outs! My goodness!
Oh no. I will not let her. I try to tell her how beautiful her curls are but she fights it. I love when she uses the Shea Moisture products and it is very shiny and curly but natural but she wants it straight.

I need to try these Shea Moisture products then! I wish my mom had known more about hair. She's more tomboy. Keeps her hair very short and no fuss. When I was younger, she kept my hair very very short like a boy because she didn't have any clue how to handle curly or long hair. I had no one to really assist me. All my girlfriends had straight hair. I understand how your daughter feels. Curls are beautiful, but straight hair is just amazing also and easier to handle. I do my blow out once or twice a year now when I get it cut. If I wasn't lazy, I would use my hot iron to straighten my hair, but... I just can't be bothered.

Flat ironing her hair takes hours. She goes to a small high school that is 7-12th grade and she is the only one really with "different" hair. My grandmother did the same with mine and keeping It short. I was in 8th grade or so before she let it get past my shoulders and stop with the perms.

I bet after all that time spent flat ironing her hair it only lasts a few hours if even. My hair is like that. The minute any wind, heat or moisture strikes my hair curls like there is no tomorrow. I hope your daughter will appreciate her beautiful natural curls one day. A lot of women perm (not sure if that's what is called these days)or use curling irons to get what we have. Isn't that just like us women. Always want what the others have. Just like boobs. I wish mine were smaller (sometimes) and women get implants to make them bigger. We are just not satisfied with what we are given.

This is so true!!! She is very tall too and finding pants that are long enough is hard and I am so short that I have to have everything hemmed. Boobs...yeah I would go for a reduction still. I went from a 42F to a 34DD with weight loss but I would love to be a regular D or even a C.

OMG. I had the Brazilian blowout done about four or more years ago. My hair was down to my elbows, so it took 5 HOURS. And my god did it stink. But my hair was BEAUTIFULLY STRAIGHT and no frizz. I swear, three days later a news report in Portland came on that said all the Brazilians in the Portland area (at that time) had formaldehyde in it. The stylist said no way, but I'm sure there was. It was a sad day, because I would have paid any amount to keep my hair straight and without frizz, but no way was I going to put that business back in my hair. :(

My problem is my hair is half curly, half straight. If it was all one way, I'd be golden. But half hair with frizz sucks (for me).

I hear you and feel your pain AutumnMoon. Do you use any leave in conditioners or anti-frizz stuff? (which I personally find more irritating because they frizz my hair due to the alcohol content in it). I've been using Moroccan oil lately and it's been doing a pretty good job with leaving my hair curly (not too oily and doesn't seem to be drying my hair). I need to try it after I get my hair cut & blown-out to see if it makes a difference.

The Moroccan and argan oil stuff really helps more than anything for curls. On my hair, after most of it came out it came back straighter and I use the Keratin oil for me and love it.

While folks may laugh at us stirrup pants ladies at least our leggings weren't SEE THROUGH. WTF is up with this generation not noticing their pants are sheer? Half these chicks are wearing tights as pants. When I saw my daughter's pasty booty through her black pants I promptly called her out and told her to never wear those in public again. I then bought her some nice Zella leggings from Nordstrom (which also hold your bits in) and voila -- no see through.

My lippies are arriving today. I'm thinking about giving away one to someone in one of my Secret Santa groups. Is it wrong that though I know she'd love the purples I don't really wanna give one up?

THIS!! There is a big difference between tights and leggings! Hint: we should not see your underwear if you are wearing the right ones.
