MAC Punk Couture Collection (December 26, 2013)

I picked up my lippies earlier today but I haven't had a chance to play with them yet. Will post pics as soon as I do though. Also finally received my much anticipated Zoya nail polish Black Friday haul today so I'm a happy girl! I'm not overly in love with polish but I love Zoya's polishes! And they had a great deal so I'm excited. :fluffy:

Vampy colors can be aging which is why I pulled away from them this year. However, since I look at least 10 years younger than I am I'm going to rock some of these shades. Jenn you looked beautiful and I'd give you multiple thumbs up if I could.

Really! I haven't felt this impatient for a collection in a while. After seeing Hautecore mixed with other lipsticks, I'm tempted to get that one, too. But I think I should still skip. I'm just extremely excite for Instigator &PC and seeing everyone wear them makes me want to get them even more because they look GREAT!

Me neither, the colours are just so lovely! I'm still torn on Studded Kiss, but Instigator and Punk Couture will be mine!

I'm starting to go back and forth on studded kiss. It's beautiful, but some of the swatches make it look a bit warm. It also looks close to Endless Drama PLW, which I already have. I'll probably get it regardless, and if it's warm, maybe mix it with Hautecore!

I'm dying to wear a dark vampy lip today, but had a little incident while waxing, so I don't want to draw attention to my mouth, and what looks like a cold sore. Stupid dry winter skin. Lol.

Thank you, MissTT! That's true. It can be aging. I used to wear vampy colors in my teens. (It was the 90's. LOL!) Then I kinda pulled away from it after a while and just now getting back to it after TTT and FOD.

Right. That's exactly my point. I know that MAC has a commitment to not test, but they have to test to sell in China. Same thing with Urban Decay, and they even have vegan cosmetics. It's really hard to know what everyone is doing, which sites are telling the truth about animal testing, and who to believe. I was a vegan for many years, and honestly, I was tired of beating myself up about making sure everything was animal safe. It's very difficult, and for those who remain vegan and those who never buy animal-tested products, I salute you and admire you. But I'm not going to be in anyone's face about whether they buy cruelty-free or not. I don't think anyone is saying that they want things tested on animals. With regulations, it's hard to find anyone who is 100% cruelty-free.

On another note, seeing all these swatches of Studded Kiss makes me wonder: is it like Kat Von D Adora? I love that shade but it dries my lips out like nobody's business. Some of the swatches kinda remind of it, so I was hoping so I can say goodbye to Adora. It seems metallic enough. Regardless, it's a pretty color.

San Francisco, CA. My Nordstrom orders are normally processed in Utah I believe, is that the same for you?
