RiRi Hearts MAC Holiday Collection (December 12, 2013)

I feel you. This is why I end up shopping on ebay and I know its controversial but feeding the resellers. I just don't have anyone in my life with free time who can do this wait in line bullshit on a weekday during regular work hours so I figure I am paying the resellers for their time and ingenuity. Capitalism, wut can I do? Sorry if that pisses anyone off. I got PB and BGRR for < $50 (each) shipped, so I figure that wasn't too bad. Thanks to a kind member here, I was able to get the bronzer. I skipped the bag, too little for too much $$$ and I can't seem to find the eyeliners in stock, but maybe there will be a restock on those and I am betting on getting RRW in the holiday packaging at some point, either Clearance bin here or a random restock. I am definitely coming away from this with a big negative on MAC's LE marketing practice and ANYTHING riri in the future.

There are still some stores that do phone orders. It is still worth the try to call some stores while you wait on line. Its killing two birds with one stone. Someone just mentioned they witnessed a phone order happen right in front of them at the check out.

Heading to Adventura Mall now running a bit late but the 9am Macy's opening was worth it. Got the bronzer for myself !

I tryed mine on too its hella bright on me I was like WHOO.. lol I think I'll save it for the summer time when I have a little tan going on what lip liner are you going to use it with

Lol like woo , I love bright colors but I think I would use something dark to bring the actual color on my lips it's to like iono it looks like pink pigeon to me I have to play with the color hmm but I think riri collection looks better on darker skin tones

Good luck to all of you ladies! I must say, these Rihanna collections have been horrible and this is the first time that i've actually purchased something from her collections. Never again. As a matter of fact, after the Punk Couture collection, it'll be awhile before I purchase anything from MAC again. It's just too much trouble. I was lucky enough to score the 2 lippies that I wanted the most but I had to wake up at 7AM just to do so. Smh.

I have such a good hubby! My hubby dropped me off so that he can run home and walk the dog. When he came back, there I am standing in front of the pro store. He says, " what are you doing?" I looked at him like . Then out of his jacket he pulls out a MAC bag with my lippies. he went to Macys which opened at 9am. I now leave spot number one to another lucky lady.

I have to say that this launch has been the most disappointing. I stayed up for the past two nights trying to get my hands on Pleasure Bomb and Bad Girl Riri.... I grabbed another ririwoo from online, even though I didnt need it, I didnt want my sleepless nights to be wasted. I emailed the store about how disappointing this was...not that I expect them to do anything. If I knew that i couldn't get these products online I would have arranged to come into work later and went to the stores...so unfair!

I cant wait to never see a RIhanna and Mac collaboration again! Good riddance!

I wasted time by calling a store in another state that I thought would have the lipsticks. I was told that they wouldn't do phone orders. So I called one of my local stores that I knew had 3 PBs and 2 BGRRs without any hope...and I got one of the PBs!!!! All my other local stores were sold out/won't take phone orders/won't answer the phone. But I have a plan that I hope pans out so that I can at least get BGRR and then a set of all 3 to give as gifts. I hope other people had better luck!

Btw, I'm just getting into lip liner and realizing how it can change the color/intensity of lipstick. Do I need RRW lip liner?

i'm calling around to different mac stores and counters in the DC-Maryland-Northern Virginia area. I found one that would ship but they were sold out of everything! :-(

According to Valinalvane, the one in Delaware has stock so you should get their number and try to do a DTC.
