I just cut my list down to 5 items and will only be getting Pleasure Model ED Blush, Autoerotique ED Blush, Magnetic Appeal EDSF, Fairly Precious EDSF and Morning Rose lipstick. I might get the EDES later.
Yuppers!!!If the left blush is At Dusk, it looks like the color is off a bit! The right EDSF must be FP! Miiiine! Thank you, Naynadine! :heart2:
Those would work on your skintone, depending on your liptone that is.Would close contact and sensual sparks work well on NC43 skintones? I want them, but the promo pictures and description make me want them, but the actual swatches I've seen online seem lighter than I was expecting, and I don't want to look like Tyrone Biggums from the Chappelle show
HB and Overspiced lipglass, probably none of the fluidline if you're wanting to use them as liner, but if you're wanting to use them as a base, then both browns would work, PM blush and MA skinfinish. Lipglasses are an opaque formula. And fluidline is applied with either an angled, squared or pointed brush. It's all personal preference really. Whichever you're most comfortable with.I am an nw45. What items in this collection as far as the lipglasses, fluidline, blushes and EDSFs would work on my complexion? Are the lipglasses opaque or sheer? How do I apply a fluidline? Sorry for the questions. I'm trying to figure out what iitems would work on me so I can at least make a preliminary decision. Help me please lol.
With a veeeeeeeery light hand if you do.hmm so no pleasure model huh???
What about the EDSF in Superb? I heard that is good too. I never used a EDSF before.Yuppers!!!If the left blush is At Dusk, it looks like the color is off a bit! The right EDSF must be FP! Miiiine! I'm not a fan of it on an NW45. But that's just me :dunno:What about the EDSF in Superb? I heard that is good too. I never used a EDSF before.
I have MAC Riri Fall CCB in Diamonds .Are they the same shade or different?I'm not a fan of it on an NW45. But that's just meWhat about the EDSF in Superb? I heard that is good too. I never used a EDSF before.
I agree. Although I love the shade and I feel like it can work with careful application, I recognize how pale it is. I like a warmer highlighter on myself. I'm considering skipping but I still want it lol!I'm not a fan of it on an NW45. But that's just me :dunno:
Im an NC 40 and it shows up on me, i do have to apply about 2-3 layers thoSince at dusk is a subtle pink would it show up on nc35 skin tones ?
So of course I had to go back in my email history to see when I placed my order for last year's 12/26 collections. It was 12:30 AM on 12/24, so that means it released late the night of the 23rd (at least for PROs). My order shipped on 12/26. Now that I'm thinking about it though, I remember it taking longer than usual for my package to get to me. Pretty sure I didn't actually receive it until the first or second week of January. Ugh, this is making me want to just go to the store the morning it releases so I can have them sooner!I placed my order on the 23rd last year so I'd definitely check the website a few days before.
Not having seen Diamonds in person, i can tell you CCBs and EDSFs are two completely different animals. The shimmery CCBs are shimmery creams, which are sheerer in nature, making it more wearable on different skintones, and the EDSF are intense metallic powders, which, tho they can be sheered out, can also easily be applied more opaqued, if not careful. While Superb could work on deeper skintones with a light hand, it can easily come off too light. As the others said, a deeper and warmer tone is easier to work with and much more flattering on deeper skintones without having to manipulate and force it to work. You shouldn't have to make makeup work for you. But if you're loving swatches on deeper skintones, by all means, give it a go! I wouldn't want you to miss out on something that you really want.I have MAC Riri Fall CCB in Diamonds .Are they the same shade or different?

Wholeheartedly agree with Erine re Superb. I really didn't see any flattering impact on me so I ended up selling both my Superb and WoG. I prefer Glorify, Double Definition and Shape The Future on me. I know it didn't work then and it won't work now but it just tempting as Misfitted commented. Luckily I am on Pixie's thread so I know that the urge can be controlled
Oh i know hun. That was for [@]ladyd12[/@]. I was just quoting you and [@]misfitted[/@] about why you were agreeing with me about Superb. :wink:I don't want it , Erine! That's what I am saying , it didn't work for me then and I wasn't tweaking it to suit me so Superb is a skip for me.
I might just get sensual sparks and overspiced and call it a day since most of what I want is coming from the PC collectionI'm not a fan of it on an NW45. But that's just me
It definitely comes off as ashy on NW45...
Funny enough thats my exact list. Maybe one of the nude lipsticks, maybeeeeI just cut my list down to 5 items and will only be getting Pleasure Model ED Blush, Autoerotique ED Blush, Magnetic Appeal EDSF, Fairly Precious EDSF and Morning Rose lipstick. I might get the EDES later.
Look at my girl!! Knowing what works for her and what doesn't... and resisting! THAT'S the spirit! I cut my original list for this down to only 4 items! And I am still seriously considering skipping the lipstick on my list since I already have that shade covered in my current stash! Looks like we're getting an early jump on our 2014 resolution! xoxoWholeheartedly agree with Erine re Superb.
