Goodness, that is what I didn't need to see! I was not getting anything from this collection but now, after seeing her swatches I may actual buy my first EDSF...as well as a few other things!!

I was trying super hard to resist buying anything from this....there were only a couple things that interested me...I have Superb, though WoG is my go to...but now seeing Fairly Precious, wow, beautiful, that was the one I wasn't sure about...the blushes are a skip, as well as shadows and probably lipsticks...I need to see more swatches, hopefully on someone closer to my skin tone. I also love the look of It's Physical and Steel Kiss- this one surprised me as I buy very few glosses. So if I make a purchase it would be Fairly Precious, It's Physical and Steel Kiss. And possibly Morning Rose.

I was just doing this same thing to compare Flaming Chic and Autoerotique. In one swatch Autoerotique looks much brighter and I thought they may be too similar, but actually they are really very different. Photos from Temptalia. Autoerotique and Flaming Chic.

Oh damn, after seeing the swatches I now want: Morning Rose lipstick, Carnal Instinct lipstick, At Dusk blush, Autoerotique blush and Superb skinfinish. However, I can't afford everything with the high German prices. Jeez. Stupid MAC.

To me the EDSF feel a bit more creamy and look much more metallic. The MSF are more powdery and have more of a glittery sparkle as opposed to metallic sheen. They are both beautiful in their own right, it really just depends on what sort of look you are going for.
Here is a side by side swatch of Soft and Gentle MSF and Whisper of Guilt EDSF.
Photos don't do justice to how beautiful these are, but you can get an idea or consistency here. Personally I love the metallic look and If I could only choose one highlighter it would be an EDSF. Hope that helps.
