RiRi Hearts MAC Holiday Collection (December 12, 2013)

Guess who's got their goodies today! :cheer: I was so fortunate to have started work an hour early because when I got to the counter (from the back door because I was working in the store that sells MAC) there were already a few people standing outside and looking through the windows. When I asked my MAC girl if I could get one RRW and two BGRRs she said that the two BGRRs I took were the last ones (remember that the store hadn't even opened yet!) and this caused a frenzy outside the store. The girls were so pissed! And Pleasure Bomb had already sold out because all the employees had bought them even way earlier (but there were only 3 PBs anyway). The poor MAC girl had to deal with pissed customers for the rest of the morning. I mean, I can totally understand why they were angry (I would've been angry at that stupid bit** who bought the last two BGRRs before the store opened as well, let's be honest ) but you can't really blame anyone but MAC. It's just a shame that the stores got about 3-4 lipsticks for each colour. It's really ridiculous. On the other hand I'm very happy that I got what I wanted. There were so many collections where I just didn't get a damn thing because of other addicts, so it's just fair that this time I was the lucky one. :bump: Oh, and I got Cherry as a lipliner for RRW, thanks to whoever recommended it to me!

Awwww, marz. That is the worst. Since you loved it so much, I'll sell mine. I swatched it once, but didn't like it. I was thinking about giving it another shot, but I would feel so much better about it going to someone who really loves it. :bouquet: I love Nude & if I had lost mine, I would be DISTRAUGHT. If you want it, it's yours at cost.

NYX's lip liners are good quality IMHO. I have quite a few of them.

If MAC brings back Prince Noir, like the rumors are going, it's honestly better than TTT. You'll be able to get a look that's even more interesting than TTT using a red pencil or something like Nightmoth under Punk Couture, too. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

And I will def try the nightmoth/PC combo. I haven't really played with PC yet, just swatched it.

I've only heard the rumors here - not yet from the people I personally get the gossip from. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they bring it back, considering vampy lips are way more popular now than they were when it first came out. When it comes to vampy colors, PN is my favorite. I'm picky with them because the wrong undertones or texture are aging on me. It goes PN > Dominate > Boyfriend Stealer/Musky Amethyst tie > FOD/TTT/Hipster three-way tie (FOD is at times a little too warm, TTT is a gorgeous color with an annoying amount of work, Hipster is awesome but kind of dry). Punk Couture is going to get put in this vampy list, but I won't have it in my hands until the 26th and I like to let a little time go along before I really rate where it fits in, in the list. I hope I've been able to cheer you up, GlitterMUA - TTT is not worth all the pain people had over it and it's an almost 100% guarantee MAC will do another vampy retro matte or matte like it that will be less of a pain in the butt-o-la. I do try to be an anti-enabler when I can, but more importantly, I hate to see all my Specktra friends feel down about something small like a little lipstick!! Hugs!
