MAC Magnetic Nude Collection (December 26, 2013)

Buick I wish I could tell you to skip Sweet heat but I can't its nothing like tan piggie. I wish I had it in the bigger pan but at least I got it. It could be remorse if you skip. Mag appeal I think won't look right on us but I thought the same about Glorify and it does work on my NC17ish skin. I think we'll have to swatch irl to know for sure.

Skipping SH is getting harder and harder lol. I'll most likely cave in and buy it. I know it's very simillar in colour to Superb but I dare not use EDSFs as e/s. Yup, MA is definitely one of those try-before-you-buy shades for the pale folk.

I'm also NC50 and on my list I have magnetic appeal skinfinish. I really want superb but i think I will have to swatch since it's lighter. Pleasure model blush & steel kiss lipglass. Sweet heat is a maybe!!

I have superb and love it! I was eyeing magnetic appeal as well.

I got Sweet Heat when it first came out and love it. I wear it a lot when I don't want to do my makeup. Teddy eyeliner, Sweet Heat and some mascara. Done.

I am so confused and will have to buy this collection online without seeing the products....my nc45-nc50 skintone is so finicky at times. What are people getting or suggesting for darker brown girls? Sorry if this has been answered, I try to scroll before I ask repetitive questions!

Definitely MA EDSF, PM EDB, and HB and Overspiced glosses.

Yup, MA is definitely one of those try-before-you-buy shades for the pale folk.

This, exactly. I have read bloggers say that it's basically the same color but I am weary of them using it as an eye shadow =/

My list is shifting...again.
Now I'm more into purchasing products centered around the eyes. 2 fluidlines (IP + OS) and SH, AA and SD edes.
I feel I have enough peachy highlighters with Adored and Shell Pearl therefore pass on FP edsf. MA is too risky to buy without being able to try it first (NC15/20 here).

I keep hoping Beautezine will post some swatches which are close to my skin tone. Then I can finalize my list finally!

I thought I was pretty certain on what to get but all those swatches make me rethink my list... I don't know if I should get At Dusk or the blush that looks like Bad Girl Gone Good (can't remember the name) since it's highly likely that I have got something similar to At Dusk whereas I haven't got one single colour that could be a dupe for the peachy/brownish/whatever blush.

I'm on the lighter end of NC45 (I can also wear NW40 depending on the time of year) and I'm planning on the following:

Carnal Instinct Lipstick
Fairly Precious EDSF
Magnetic Appeal EDSF
Hell Bound Lipglass
Autoerotique Extra Dimension Blush

I was tempted by Pleasure Model, but I have RiRi Bad Girl Gone Good and Shape the Future EDSF, both of which seem close enough to not be terribly distinguishable from PM.

I have Superb from one of the earlier releases, and it's very pretty, but for me, nothing terribly special. I prefer Definitely Defined when it comes to lighter EDSFs. On my skin, if I'm not careful, it's easy for Superb to look a bit too shimmery and really light. Don't get me wrong: Superb really can be lovely. I still have one, I just sold the backup.

(Honestly, I probably don't need any new EDSFs because they last FOREVER, but dammit, they're so pretty I can't help myself.)

I've seen people saying Autoerotique is kinda similar to Flaming Chic, but FC is so pretty, I don't mind if that turns out to be the case, although AE seems a bit more tanned pink than FCs bright light pink to me.

I have a feeling it will go up the night of the 23 (technically the 24th). If my memory is correct, that was the case with last year's collection that was in-store on the 26th. Since I have so many family Christmas things going on, I just hope that I can sneak away to a computer and get my order in when it launches!
