MAC Punk Couture Collection (December 26, 2013)

Wow, I don't know about y'all but from how this is looking I'd say I'm going to be ending up standing outside the mac store thursday morning lol.

A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.

This is what my Nordstroms order says for the first order i placed with PC, I and SK. I went back and placed an order for the black lipstick and that one has tracking and is already in Kentucky. How is that possible that the first order i placed has no tracking ?!?

I think it just depends on who's handling it. Sometimes, especially with overnight or rush shipping, tracking just doesn't get updated as quickly as the stuff is going out. But if you're worried about it I would call them since they might have more info.

I have a question for the those members who paid for a Specktra subscription, are you guys discussing the collections details in that chat? I ask because it seems like a lot of the comments on the thread are from new members.  Then I saw a comment of someone complaining about how someone sharing a link.  I'm not complaining or anything, I just want to know if the dynamics changed here since I haven't yet bought a subscription.

so i just came back from my local mac store in NY and they only have 15 of each color, with a limit of one. so i am going to be stalking hard now

Asked at my local MAC counter today and they told me they only got 5 of each lipstick, except for SK which they got a few more of. No wonder these things sell out so quickly...

Yes if u ordered earlier in the morning your orders are coming tommorow I have ups my choice and that let me know my nordstrom items are coming tommorow with magentic nude and this I should be getting a couple boxes I ordered some extra from magentic nudes

The counter in my mall only got 12 :-/ and I live in a major area. Glad I made the decision to order what I REALLY wanted from nordstrom.

I really do wonder how many lipsticks from each collection MAC produces. It seems like most states/stores get about 5-10, 15 if you're lucky and maybe something like 50-60 if its a really busy popular location like Las Vegas. I just wonder if there's only like...10, 000 lipsticks out there with that teeny amount stores get.

I don't have a paid subscription. I just happened to google MAC Cosmetics Punk Couture and it popped up on Belk in the shopping side bar. The people who resell on eBay might pay for a membership to get the info on LE's. They probably do a lot of stalking themselves if it is really worthwhile to resell. I doubt the info posted here or not really affects the product so quickly selling out or ending up on eBay. With such limited quantities and the hoops we have to jump through to get it (grrr MAC) sadly there will always be eBayers. I posted it was up before I even checked out and by that time Punk Couture was already removed from my cart. I only got Instigator. Oh well so is the world of LE MAC....

Argh, don't know what happened to your message but I kinda agree with this too. I'm not totally sure of the mechanics but I do think for those people really trying to sell ridiculous amounts of product paying for the Specktra membership wouldn't deter them in the slightest. I do believe some folks moniter though, but most likely those just trying to snatch up 1 or 2 of each lipstick.

If its any consolation to anyone I think Belk just gets tiny amounts of product anyway, they seem to always run out of collections early these days and when you think you're seeing an old item in stock it will sure enough be out of stock once you pay for it (then it messes up your account, blah). Its just the crazy MAC rat race.

I think the same way you do, when I found the collection yesterday at Nordies I was the first to post it here and the collection still lasted for 3 more hrs. I just asked because I usually enjoy the discussions that go on before a lunch but now everything seems somewhat quiet. I will gladly buy a subscription once December is over though.
