MAC Punk Couture Collection (December 26, 2013)

Well I ordered PC and Instigator. I happened to be awake around 3:30AM PST and noticed the collection on Macy's. I got such a surge of energy running to get my wallet that I couldn't go back to sleep after I bought them, lol. Too much adrenaline. But well worth it! Got an email confirming my order but nothing confirming shipment which I'd expect would take a few days.

Although I LOVE Haute Core and Studded Kiss and it look beautiful on all the pictures you lovelies have posted, I love purples! Plus since PC and Instigator seem to be the first ones selling out, I wanted to get my hands on them and possibly purchase SK and HC later when I get a look at them in the store.
(I have so many reds and I use my black lipmix as my black lipstick so it wasn't as imperative that I buy them now... lol)


But I do agree with most of you ladies, if you're buying from Macy's, Bloomingdales, Dillards, etc., try to match their minimum shipping requirement to receive free shipping! My two lipsticks came out to about $42 altogether from shipping fees.

Crap, now I'm feeling like I should have just got all four...

I really do wonder how many lipsticks from each collection MAC produces. It seems like most states/stores get about 5-10, 15 if you're lucky and maybe something like 50-60 if its a really busy popular location like Las Vegas. I just wonder if there's only like...10, 000 lipsticks out there with that teeny amount stores get.

I know my store got around 50 per lipstick color in PC. Much less for MN. Kind of odd too, since chancs are the clientele of that store may be more into MN over PC. 'Still, not a whole lot of units, there…..

Thanks Ladies for the heads up! I was out doing last minute shopping and saw that the collection was up. I was able to order PC, Instigator, Jet Boy, No Apologies, and the Holiday l/s Exclusive Event. Since I received my order confirmations, hopefully I will not have to stalk MAC and can enjoy my holiday.

Same here! I mean, my lipsticks literally just arrived in town lol. I suppose I don't mind, I'll be getting them Thursday morning, same day of the in-store release.

I agree I saw exclusive event on the site a couple of days ago but when I saw shipping was $10 :shock: I was like nah I can wait maybe they'll have free shipping with no min purchase after the holidays. Just my luck when I woke up to my iPad being on the Macys page and saw PC & MN so I was able to reach $50. :clapping: but for $10 that's almost a whole other lipstick I could purchase. No bueno.

My nordstrom order still says it will be here by 3 today. But with the delay I got with my melt cosmetics package saying the same thing & in reality didn't come til 2 days AFTER the fact, I'm hoping this is not the case.

I am so sorry some of you who ordered yesterday from Nordies aren't getting your packages today like you expected. I would be so disappointed. Guess I can't complain too seriously about them not being here on time. At least mine are in town and on the delivery truck. It has been quiet, though. I haven't heard any trucks in the neighborhood be it FedEx or UPS.

Mac really has got to stop playing games with my emotions. I can't be stalking the website. I wonder if mac does that text thing to inform you when a collection is released

MAC def send s a text alright but it is NOT reliable. You won't receive the text til after the collection has been up on the site for hours already & at this point all the good items are gone. SO I just RESORT to stalking lol

Macy's shipping has deterred me from so many purchases with them! Not only is it $10 but it's also super slow. The last time I ordered from them it took over a week. Nordstrom is free and they come to me in 2 days! Not only that but last time I shipped with Macy's they shipped in a plain plastic mailer, not even a bubble mailer, so of course the makeup was destroyed in shipment, Idk if they've fixed that problem.

Shocked that this hasn't gone up on MAC's site yet. Now I'm seriously debating getting PC in store since I have to be up early for work that day anyway, and I'll have my lipstick in hand sooner that way.
