In regards to supply quantity-- locations receive a certain amount of new collection products based on how much they sold of the previous collection that the new collection is anniversary-ing.

Just poking my head in to see how it went last night, but it looks like it didn't. Good luck today if you're buying online. I can't say I'll miss reading about people freaking out over nothing when it comes to shipping or folks being extra for no reason or general stupidity while I try spending time in the low-buy thread, but I damn sure will miss the GIFs and the good swatches, recs, and general advice. i called my Macy's and they said there was no one at the MAC counter yet. They said MAC is not part of Macy's so they don't keep the same hours. I wonder why everyone else's Macy's opened already?  I'm too tired to drive an hour in the snow for 2 lippies, so I'm taking my chances online. :-(   I know the second I go to take a shower or go to sleep they'll go on sale.

Same with my Macy's MAC but instead of calling like a smart person the anxious me drove to the mall. I was able to get two cosmetics SAs to get my items for me.

I swear to god, after this collection, I'm done. Sitting there all through xmas, refreshing regularly. Bah humbug.

ETA: I really feel like they're laughing at us with this one. Maybe I'm sleep deprived, but I'm imagining CS all talking to each other after hanging up each phone call/live chat, and saying "yup, another one. I gave this one a different date"

Back from the MAC store! I grabbed one of each instigator and punk couture. Just one because I get colors like this all the time, so a few more in the collection won't hurt. They kind of fill the void of what I already have because one purple is too warm, or another color isn't deep enough, blah, blah, blah. Both lipsticks look great on and will look even better when my face is totally beat. The lipsticks leave nice stains too. Instigator reminds me of Bing. Bing maybe a twinge more red. I couldn't resist Jet Boy cause the sparkles are just beautiful. It reminds me of my favorite dc'd Spring Bean, but olive. The cream sheen glasses are very, very similar to the style black ones so seeing them again felt nostalgic. I think I'll go back for the purple one later. They look amazing over the lipsticks. I hope everyone gets what they want. Are they online yet?

I couldn't take it anymore and at 7 I decided to drive to the nearest mall. This mall in Meriden, CT is small and there was the least amount of chance I would run into anyone I know (I literally rolled out the bed...reluctantly I might add). I got there and the MAC counter was dark. I stood there a moment and thought "ah hell naw" then I thought rationally. I strolled over to two SAs chatting and asked them wht time the MAC counter was opening. They gave me the "sorry for you look" but I guess they took pity on me and open up the counter, counted the register and pulled the displays. Luckily I knew the names of the items I wanted, not wanting I waste their time. I went in for PC and on the drive convinced myself I needed MA. In the rush of it all I ended up with those and MOrning rose and Steel Kiss. I'm disappointed in myself for falling for this MAC foolishness AGAIN and buying more than I needed to. I already got 3 shadows: SD, AA and SH. Didn't even know they were delivered and were outside my condo steps for darn near 48 hours lol!

Yes, it would launch. Murphy's law. And if your counter opens at 9, they would likely be sold out as well.

How bad is it snowing? Is it worth the drive? Will they put them on hold for you?
