Note:  Bobbi Brown, TF, MAC  any shades which have a brown base or some black pigment turn quite quickly. I have trashed quite a few of my BB, MAC and now TF lippies -- they go rancid.     BB is particularly problematic - all the nudes and brown based UBers go uber bad real quick
Yes, I agree!! I've had to trash quite a few of my BB lippies!!

oh no!.. sorry I don't want to alarm anyone. Elegant, glad your BO is good.. lol.

but I have a little graveyard of lippies o far... MAC's Taupe, Our Pick (which was my love) Empowered, Verve, .. all gone

I have no other problems with TF except the SSmoke and BO -- all others are fine. BB's Pout, Nude, Pinky nude -- are all smelly!

Aw, that's so sad about your lipsticks. Is there anything else that happens when a lipstick goes off? Or is it just the smell? Could you still use them if you wanted?

Has anyone tried the foundation? I wonder how light the shade Alabaster is and if it is lighter than MAC, I'd love to try it.
I bought the traceless foundation(liquid) in alabaster about two weeks ago. I loved it so much I went back and bought the traceless foundation stick in alabaster as well!! Both foundations are the best I have ever used. They ARE traceless and luminous. I am very pale. I have used Armani, Chanel, Guerlain, Bobbi Brown, and YSL in the past. These beat all of them! The alabaster is neutral, neither yellow or pink. Love them!!! They are worth the money. I have most of his brushes, they are superb.

I am considering the Stick foundation as a replacement for my old stick fnd from BB ..
I really like the BB foundation stick. The Tom Ford formula is simply amazing, it feels like it liquifies when you put it on your skin. I have used my fingers to spot apply, but if I am using it as an all over foundation I have used it with the T.F. cream foundation brush or the Chanel one. It's staying power on me is much longer than BB.The texture of TF is like silk!! I hope you love it!

I take the foundation brush and swipe it on the stick and then apply where I need it. My husband had no idea I switched toTF and told me the other day how lovely I was looking!! I've been using Ice Queen and Silvered Topaz quads, as well as She Wolf. Wicked blush and casablanca lipstick. On a separate note, the bronzer brush is to die for!!! I never use it for bronzer, it is the BEST powder brush in the world!!!

Ahhhh, ok. Thanks! I ordered the stick this morning so will give that a try when it arrives! :) Is the bronzer brush very dense like the cheek brush or no? I'm looking for a powder brush that'll give me a very light application & was thinking about the Shiseido Powder Brush.

No, it is not quite as "firm" as the cheek brush. The head is 2" high by 2 and a 1/4 at the widest part. It is very dense but not as firm. I use it for my Guerlain, Chanel, and Chantecaille finishing powders.I've owned many high quality brushes, but nothing like this baby! The application with those powders provides a beautiful soft focus effect. Not at all powdery.I honestly don't think you could overdo it with this brush. I am totally smitten!! The cheek brush lays down a much more concentrated amount of pigment. I brought home Bare, one of his sheer lipsticks the other day. I am a big fan of Chanel's Rouge Coco Shines. These will really give my Shines a run for their money! Lovely!! I can't wait to see the Spring colors.

Has anybody tried the cream foundation brush? I'm interested in it and was curious if it was good or not.
Yes, I have it. I love it. It's my favorite brush to use when applying my foundation.

The only complaint I have is that mine is not white anymore. After using so many foundations, it has stained.

What do you use when you deep clean this brush? I use a mixture of Dawn Pure and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Using a brush canister I purchased at an art store, I swirl it around on the textured surface - this really helps to dislodge even the most stubborn makeup - and my white-bristled brushes come out completely clean. Maybe this might work to remove the stains from your brush.

Neither the stick nor the liquid has oxidized on me. I am so pale that even the slightest oxidation is obvious. If I am having an exceptionally long day I will dab a bit more foundation on my nose if I need to. I swear my nose sometimes eats foundation!! The stick is great for touch ups like that. Have you ever used the Armani Maestro foundation?

I adore my TF$ brushes and especially the cream foundation brush! I've always used the cleanser from the London Brush Company:

http://www.londonbrushcompany.com/collections/all/products/brush-shampoo-natural

It gets them clean and white again, which always amazes me. The thing I like best is it rinses away so easily. It's very similar to the Becca brush soap that everyone raved about but became so hard to find. This one from the London Brush Co. comes in a variety of scents (I like the Lavender). Until Jan 1 there's a 25% off code: CELEBRATION. I so love this stuff!!

Just found a review for it:

My TF girl swears by Johnson 's Baby soap in the bar . She uses it the same way they use the one from the London Brush Co.
