I agree with Ernie/Erine lol. Blushbaby (one of my fave go-to's) is a great one to use. Barefaced is too if you have it. Something neutral and/or with the slightest hint of pink works well.

Everyone's got some good ideas with these so far. I've been plotting which blushes to use for a while and have a few alternative ideas, for bumping up the glamor factor. With Instigator, I think you could go a little more dramatic on the cheeks if you wanted, with something like Vintage Grape or Scene to be Seen MSF. I dunno, there's something about that color that blends so well with the skin - I think that's why you could get a little stronger on it if you wanted. I don't think I'd want to go strong on PC, just because it's so bluish and dominating a color already. SK probably would be better to keep the cheeks toned down too. You could do a wild look with HC with bright magenta blush and dark, smokey eyes, but you better have a really stark outfit to pair that with. Mostly, I'm going to stick with the nude and subtle blushes though, like everyone's saying. The main blushes I'm going to use with all of these will be Amber Glow, Alpine Bronze, Equilibrium, At Dusk, Bareness and Pleasure Model. I'll need to play around with it, but I'm thinking Lavish Living and Talk of the Town will work really well too. Fresh Honey, Immortal Flower and that old favorite Sakura might come out too, as we get into spring or when I want to pull these out at the end of summer/early fall.
I think its because its a "power" color. Like how men can have "power ties" , women have red lipstick. Once you put it on, no matter what you are wearing you are making a statement. I know I always feel pretty boss when i wear my Riri Woo lol

SK finally sold out. Speaking of reds, I actually steer away from them. I wear reds a lot when I dress up for dancing that I get bored of the color. Blasphemy! I know. I do love me some purples and berry. :wink:

How about e/s. I know neutrals are ideal for instigator but I want to do something fun without having my eye m/u look like I'm in drag mode. I just have no vision as to what to do with the lippies and the rest of my makeup now that I have them. Btw, I hope you don't mind but yesterday I stared at one of your pictures trying to recreate the winged eyeliner look and mine turned out OK. Not as f*ng awesome as yours but I'll get there. lol I hope you get on yt on day.

I don't wanna drain the thread with pictures of me but this is me wearing Instigator AGAIN (my new favourite lipstick!) with cream soda on my cheeks, some matte brown eyeshadows and a shitload of mascara

So I've been putting on my lippies daily, testing them out and I'm not sure I'm sold on Instigator. It's a lot darker on me than TTT, almost a reddish black. Totally wasn't expecting that. It's definitely a color I've never worn before so maybe I just need to get used to it. I'm wearing it again over the next few days to see how it goes. Haute Couture is so awesome and universal. It looks great alone, mixed with other colors and great under various glosses. Punk Couture is bad ass! And literally a 10 year old girl stalked me around the Pandora store to pull me to the side and whisper in my ear, "I like your lipstick, it's badass." I was so shocked but happy! She had spunk. Her mom was getting her her first Pandora bracelet for her birthday which is next week (a fellow Capricorn like me) so I brought her a charm just because! She was so stoked! Hopefully I converted her and this was the first step in her becoming a lipstick addict! LOL I digress, sorry! I'm wearing Studded Kiss today to see how it goes; will let you all know how that fares but so far I'm loving all these lippies. totally worth the wait.
I've gone through this too, with Rebel or any red lip. I was all about my neutrals, and there weren't colors I was used to wearing so I initially wrote them off after trying them.
My first time testing Rebel in the store, I didn't think it was a good color for me. As I started getting into deep berry lips, I went back to it and now I love it! Same thing with my red lippies. I had to wear them around the house a few times before I was beginning to feel myself and knew that I could rock a red lip. I've learned to just give most new-to-me shades a few tries to see if a color grows on me.

I can't wait to get these lippies. I am drooling over the photos you have posted. I like how they suited everyone.
But I also lost my breath when I saw that their release is optional internationally. I can't see how they will sell where I live. I once got a black lipstick and the mua at the Sephora told me it was the only one they had in stock and they believed that no one will ever buy it. And she had to double check if I was wrong with the numbers and asked for the black one by mistake.
I love reds and dark lipsticks. I mostly use them in the mornings
when I don't have time or I am not in the mood to play with eyeshadows etc. A simple natural eye and cheek and and a dark plum or berry or red lip and off the house. It makes a statement and somehow it does look elegant when I have to be all dressed up and official.

My hubby doesn't like dark lipsticks on me either Lol that's why I didn't by any from this collection.what's wrong me!
Here I am wearing PC in my jammies :haha: I don't know where to wear this shade to…I guess anywhere my boyfriend is not, since he doesn't like dark lipsticks. If I apply multiple layers of Instigator and PC, they look really dark on me where I can hardly even see the purple. So I prefer to do one layer of these (i usually apply multiple layers to even out / intensify the color of the lipstick I am wearing)

I think u are applyin too much im guessin to get even coverage? I think u can def wear it juat do neutral eyes so it doesnt looks extremely dressed up. I wrk in a business casual environment also and I wear mine too. Sometimes I feel crazy but thats because the people around me cant dress since I wear heels and blazers daily lol. Wear it!!!

Tried all of them but so far I have only used SK and I love it ..... I started not to get it but was convinced when I tried it in in the store bare face ...... Wore it yesterday and I'm so sold on it may see if the stores here still have any to purchase a BU ...

Girl u should of brought aleast one for yourself my bf don't like dark colors I still buy the ones I like funny thing is he loves fod I will have on another ls and he be like wear the dark one I like what am I going to have to buy 10 bu of fod lol
