"No, because it needs to be processed." I ask her... "So my delivery date keeps changing, and now that it's at your facility, you're telling me it takes four days for you guys to delivery it from one side of town to the other?" She proceeds to tell me that because it is standard mail, it could take up to 14 business days for me to receive my package so the fact that its showing up Jan 4th is actually "good". Am I supposed to be happy or something that you're holding my lipsticks hostage? So much for wearing PC for new years!!!

The Postal Service is the worst! That is why it is one of the most inefficient government agencies. If it is already here why not allow you to pick it up? Dumb I tell you!

Ok so I'm SUPER late..I was supposed to go out Thursday but had a scare with my dog and then went out of town to visit my sister and there's no MAC stores or counters :shock: so I called around today no that I'm back in town..I just knew my MAC store would be sold out so I tried ALL the Macys around me. All sold out. Didn't even try Nordstroms or Dillards, I just went out to the mall..first stop my MAC store (the only one here) it's packed. :( I find someone to help me and they're not sold out!!!! Got my PC and Instigator!! Just wanted to share :) I'm also curious about the mascara that came out..has anyone tried it? Sorry for the long post

I wouldn't use a balm, it will make the color run outside of your lips. At least, that's what it does the times I have tried balm.
Whenever I have excessively dry/splotchy lipsticks (TTT ehem) lol, I apply my Mentha Supreme 2X lip shine by C.O. Bigelow. You can get it at your nearest Bath and Body Works. The trick is to take a lip brush (I personally LOVE Bare Minerals' mini concealer brush as a lip brush) and squeeze the SMALLEST DAB of it onto the tip of it. Then apply it in the center of your lip with the brush and work your way out to the corners, avoiding the lining of your lips. This really helps the color blend.
It may give you a slight glossier look at first but once it dries, it will set on your lips and not be as shiney :)

I know. I HATE USPS!!! I called the customer service which isn't specific to any one location. I've been calling the exact post office its being held at and the line has been busy for two hours. -___-

I think the issue people are having is that your selling them for so much :( especially since so many ladies were trying to get their hands on those lipsticks,... I agree there is nothing wrong with selling your back ups that is your choice and i'm not against making extra $$ off them. But come on now those prices look like the evil Ebayers

Yeah, you can use Currant or Nightmoth for more of a vampy look! :)

Usually Nightmoth, Stone, or Magenta are my go-to liners for everything. lol!

I personally don't care what anyone sales their items for because I see it this way...if you're desperate enough and frankly...foolish enough to spend that much on something that really isn't worth it then that's on you (the buyer). It's not my money. I don't think it's about where you're selling it for those that have an issue with it. It's the markup. Not that you have to explain yourself but...why did you go through all of the trouble to hunt them down only to flip them for such a high price? Seems odd to do so much work for backups you barely held on to....and seems more like you did it with the intent to flip them (which might be what has rubbed some the wrong way). If that was your intent then again....nothing wrong with that at all. Some won't like it of course but not much any of is can do about it. It's not something I personally would set out to do (but I'll admit that if someone on their own offered to pay me an insane amount for a backup that I have I wouldn't tell them no lol). Yes, I've listed a few items in my clearance bin a little above retail to cover what I spent out of pocket (shipping or taxes if that were the case) but I wouldn't mark something up 2x or 3x the retail price...especially right after it just launched and say it was me just unloading my backups. That's just a personal choice. Doesn't make me better than anyone else or anything. It's really not that serious. Besides...I'm kinda glad you didn't list it like that on here. I'd hate to see a fellow member pay that much if they really didn't have to. I'd go out of my way to try and find it for them at retail around me if I could before I let them do that...or sell them one of my backups at cost. :shrugs: I kinda like ya'll lol

I only have about 6-7 lip pencils, one being Nightmoth! I do love them! But I never dare to go too crazy one them because they can't be B2M'd!! (I know that's not really a great reason though :p)

And I'm a little sad atm... Not only have I woken up 1000000 times worse, and I have work for the next 3 days... I am wondering why Mac's "Premium" delivery service is taking longer to get here than standard?? I ordered them Xmas Eve, Hautecore arrived Thursday and I usually have issues with Selfridges delivery... So yeah... little sad haha :/
