Make sure you get the gel, not the creme. It also works as a great primer all over the face by the way. It's the exact same thing as the smashbox primer, and it's only $5! :wink:

Studded Kiss and instigator will be here tomorrow by noon! MAC Canada has been closed since December 23rd so today was the first day they've been open. I'll be able to wear one of them for NYE tomorrow!

Me too! I was surprised because I just did the standard shipping option and wasn't too concerned about when they'd get here. I'm kind of excited for NYE now!

   Have you tried the lip exfoliator from E.L.F?  I got it at the E.L.F. studio store in NYC, but Im pretty sure its sold at Target too.  It comes bullet shaped in a lipstick tube and it works really well! Also, Mary Kay Satin Lips set is good too.

I'm going to have to try this out

Awwww thanks, gorgeous!!! =D Well, I have Nightmoth, Stone, Soar, Magenta, Embrace Me, Hip N Happy, Mini Great Catch from a holiday collection! I had Cherry once too, but it was the only product I ever lost :/   The ones I tend to use most are Nightmoth (Duh!), Stone, Soar and Magenta!! I do wanna invest in some more!! I'm actually thinking of getting that black pencil by NYX after seeing swatches!!!  I can't remember the other Mac black liner recommendation that was safe for lips etc!! :/  Xxx

Well, the last time I posted on here was the morning Macy's released Punk Couture online, and I hated how expensive their shipping was. 7 P.M.-ish EST that night, I checked the Macy's website again and was able to add "Punk Couture" (for me) and "Studded Kiss" (for my mom) to my cart, as well as "Steel Kiss" (for me) and a random eyeliner sharpener to meet the $50 requirement for free shipping.

Originally my package was due for this Thursday, but tracking updated on Saturday to say that I would get it today, and I did. I just wonder if I was really lucky to get my hands on "Punk Couture" 10+ hours after it launched on Macy's website, or if it was really in stock for that long. Whatever the case, I did manage to get "Instigator" at work when it launched for MAC, and I'll be getting that package on Thursday. I tried "Punk Couture" today and while I'm not used to wearing dark colors (or purples for that matter), I really like it! I must say, though, it pulled more like a reddish-purple on me than any kind of bluish-purple, which was slightly disappointing, but more wearable nonetheless.

Here are two funny pictures where I have "Punk Couture" on half of my mouth and "Steel Kiss" on the other half. "Punk Couture" was patchy and it's (a) applied sheerly here and (b) applied over an old coat of lip balm, so my lips aren't looking their best, but whatever haha. I still love the color (so does my boyfriend ) and I don't mind working with lipsticks when the colors are unique.





I'll eventually take a full-face photo with it applied properly but I got the package when I finished work after 8 P.M. and I rather do a full, planned photo with natural lighting.

I smear some vaseline on my lips then dip the same finger in the sugar (so it will stick) and scrub my lips for a few seconds. Then rinse with warm water and apply some balm. I keep a little tub of vaseline and a small tupperware full of sugar in my bathroom counter. It works great!

Wow, so I thought someone said mac Canada was opened today. So I called and the VM says they're closed from dec 25th til jan 2nd so I guess I'm not getting my order for a long time yet :/

They were open today - I called in to upgrade my shipping. Weird about the message. It took me a bit to get through, but I did on the 4-5th time. Not sure if they're open tomorrow - hope your order gets out.
