Happy New 2014! I have missed you and am very grateful that you remember me and some of my travails.. this last year was more than trying. I lost my two puppies too.. one was very old and the other one had a brain anurism and was almost brain dead so he had to be put down. It broke my heart -- but then, my heart has been so broken in the past few years I wonder if there is any part left.
I miss all my beloved family and friends who have gone on.. they are happy and at peace with the universe.
I miss Shypo too -- I think she got mad at me because of some stuff I wrote .. which I admit, at the time I was having panic attacks and all sorts of feelings of gloom doom and despair. But it was always my understanding that friends are there no matter what crazy stuff we do -- at least I am. If we cannot be supportive friends, then we are nothing as humans.
I am glad to read she is well and keeping busy.

This is my first post but I wanted to come and share my excitement about my Chanel spring purchases!
I'm waiting for both the RC lippies, both blushes and the quad from the US and Charivari nail polish and sonate gloss from a Chanel boutique in Melbourne. Can't wait!
Being a country girl sucks sometimes, especially when new collections come out and I can't get to the city for weeks. I miss out often!

Your Chanel haul sounds like you had a little fun with this collection. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on your new products. The colors are so pretty online. I've got to get to a counter and play.

Oh, and just in case you need to know, I am NC15-20, so the colour may vary from one another. After seeing so many people raving Chamade, I actually rushed to the counter to see it and perhaps to get it.
Unfortunately it wasn't a bright colour on my skintone, making me look rather dull. Sad.

I miss hearing what she is making for all of her amazing dinners And thank you, my daughter is feeling much better! I've loved everything I've gotten from this collection. Although I do miss the stripey blushes/bronzers!

The first of my goodies arrived today. Charivari is a lovely colour. I'm not sure how unique the colour is. I'm sure someone out there knows of a dupe of close to it. But I love the Chanel polish formula and the shine. So it's love! The colour doesn't scream 'spring' to me but that's ok. We're heading towards the end of summer here in Aus so I bet it would make a great Autumn nail colour.
Sonate gloss is just gorgeous. I was worried it would be too red on me but not at all.
