Also wondering if I should pick up sweet heat, mostly because I think it will be gorgeous with my coloring in the summer months! So hard to resist!

Me, too! It looks so pretty. I just wish it was bigger. I'm wondering if I could layer All That Glitters or Woodwinked over Rubenesque and get a similar result? I don't even have Rubenesque, but the price is more justifiable.

I don't have Silver Dawn. I just swatched both ATG and SW onto my hand and then a tissue. I'd say that SH is a little darker, a bit more rose/champagne gold. The finish and great pigmentation is really what makes it so different. I personally find SW to be too metallic/bold for me to wear to the office (but I work in a conservative environment so that might not be an issue for you). I wear it most often as a sheer wash of colour in the summer. It's a nice one and done look for me. ATG is a more wearable, office friendly finish for me. SW is very similar to Superb, if you have that. I'm reaching here, but I'd say SH is very slightly more rose gold than Superb, but that's with a heavy swatch.

Yes this is most helpful. I prefer more subtle colors oppose to super metallic colors that can't be worn at work. I don't work in a office but I'm a RN and I don't wear loud makeup at my workplace, my patients wld not appreciate that I'm sure. lol thank you for your response

My pleasure. It isn't that I don't like the colour, it's just that it's very metallic and can look more intense that what I like. There are some comparison swatches here: http://heiress-ox.blogspot.ca/2013/12/mac-magnetic-nude-sweet-heat-extra.html . The 'artificial light with flash' pic shows the difference in finish the best, but I find it to be more pronounced than this on me. ATG is much softer looking.

I've contoured my cheeks with Camel Coat and Stormy Pink p/ps and it's worked great - I didn't find them too thick at all. I didn't have a very large area to contour, though.

Love Camel Coat PP but never imagined using it as a contour. Wouldn't work on me anyway with my coloring but just interesting to see someone using it that way. I've been using it as my eye shadow base/primer since I got it and rarely touch my UDPP. Really hope it's perm because I love it that much lol

today I went to Mac and swatched everything.... I already had At dusk, It's physical, superb and silver dawn.. I ended up with Autoerotique, a natural flirt and morning rose too (two of them are a early birthday gift from my boyfriend) ^_____________^ and I dare say Fairly precious was amazing too but my budget wasn't unlimited XD

Nothing Good comes after "today I went to Mac and swatched......" So,,, today I went to Mac and swatched silver dawn and amorous alloy. I was trying to stay away. And them what happens? I swatched them one on top of the other ..... So of course I had to get them.. That and two lippies from huggables. That's IT! I'm done w MN!!!!!! The best part is I know I will wear these colors non stop

I was originally interested in SW but passed at the counter because I thought it was too glittery. I bought A Natural Flirt, which is iridescent and quite subtle but still a pretty peachy pink. You might like that one instead, like me.
