I must agree I am not a fan of frost but this combo is really pretty. I still intent to swatch it before I buy.... but then again it is for a good cause so I'll probably just buy it anyway

Yup, this is one time where it's ok to just buy it without swatching. If you happen to not like it, your money wasn't wasted. It's a nice enough colour too that you can find a good home for it (vs Nicki2, that colour has such a limited demographic even when you blend it with another)

Not really impressed with the gloss but I'm sure I'll probably pick up the lipstick sometime this year. Gonna have to wait for more swatches to decide on the gloss tho.

I think I'm sticking to my plan of waiting to buy the lipstick and gloss together with a cute bag that gets promoted at the holidays. But the packaging is so cute it is gonna be so hard to wait that long! For those who hate waiting I think Love Alert csg is a dupe for the gloss.

The lipstick looks pretty average to me? Maybe I'm just falling out of love with reds, or I have too many. Probably the latter.

That lipglass, on the other hand... it looks gorgeous! I love the pink sparkles in it, and they make it seem more raspberry than red, in my opinion.

But the facts are as follows:

• More than half my lipgloss stash are MAC lipglasses -- and I never use them.
• I have three red lipglosses in this same shade range -- and I never use them.

So, maybe I'll get the holiday set at the end of the year or something. For now, the low-buy prevails!

Hmm. I dunno how I feel about it. I think by itself the lipstick is sort of meh... but together I think you could work out a transparent jelly sort of look that could be pretty. I just wish we had something a little different than another RED lipstick.

I agree. When i saw this actually it's like "another red from riri?!" Feeling though i like it. But still, i hoped she made another shade instead of red.

This. Love the way the gloss looks but the lipstick is meh. I'm not much of a red lippie fan anyway so I'm pretty biased lol. If the lipstick was more pink like the gloss I'd be all over it! This just looks like RiRi woo on steroids. I hope it pulls more pink on me. The last thing I need is to haul the gloss instead knowing I have 20+ MAC glosses that I don't even use anymore lol

I was thinking the same thing. And I usually buy that set every year. Hope I can hold off that long! I'm not a big gloss person, but this one is just beautiful!

I don't think I can get enough of red lipsticks ...... I hate I missed out on Pleasure bomb if this is similar that will make up for it.

Yeah I am not having any remorse not getting VGNicki2. It just isn't going to work on my skin. Happy for those who look awesome in it though.

I paired mines with nyx plum, seriously lip liners help a lot with tweeking, however i don't want to jump through a hurdle to get a lipstick to work neither.

yea, i' m on a low buy too, will use my strawberry melt if i feel like getting a close color.
