MAC Magnetic Nude Collection (December 26, 2013)

I knew it was still available but when you have several bloggers saying so, I assumed that it was next. Nothing wrong with just asking questions dear glad to know it isn't!

Bloggers were all jumping the gun and assumed it was about 6-9 months ago when it was long term OOS. You couldn't find it in pan or pot anywhere company-wide. Artists were telling people it was and the rumour spread like wildfire. But it happens occasionally with certain products/colours. It was probably just an ingredient supply issue.

I don't post much. But I just wanted to say I love this collection. I ended up with AA and SD, had SH from the 1st release. also SS. Then decided I had to have MA and overspiced. Am I done now? Not sure ... still considering steel kiss ... is it a must have?

Estée Lauder Shimmery Sands Powder Gelee is it comparable to Superb? Is it WOC friendly / recommended . I have EL Topaz Chameleon Powder Gelee so was wondering if SS would be suitable for me as well. I was also considering EL Modern Mercury . Which is preferred and more WOC friendly ? TIA

Iirc Modern Mercury is a dead on dupe for Superb. The formula of the EL powders and Mac's are the same. Hth!

Went to the mac store today and picked up a bu of morning rose and tried carnal instinct on and loved it so got that. I passed on a bu of close contact and sensual sparks didn't look good on me.

If they were the larger size like they the last round, i wouldn't have hesitated to buy a couple of colours. But like I've before, i refuse to pay $20 for a small shadow, especially when mac has/will sell the exact same thing in a larger size for the exact same price in a few months.

Do you know for sure or are you going off your past experience of working with MAC? I totally understand if you can't share the info.

It was crazy! lol Lots of love but hate too, so I'm happy but kinda sad at the same time, strange feeling. lol Oh well, it's not the first time people dislike my brows, it's not like if I thought they looked good, I know they aren't the prettiest brows in the world, I just can't do anything about them. So all I can say is 'I know'. lol

Your brows are fine, people just find something to talk crap about. That's what the block button is for.

Your Beautiful! I really hope you still continue your blog don't let stupid people ruin it for you that is so sad. People can be so cruel by just pointing out flaws in a person because they are unhappy with themselves or their lives. I hate keyboard gangstering. Can't stand it. People are such cowards saying mean and hurtful things behind a keyboard. It's one of the reasons I rarely post my pics anywhere, I just don't have TIME for all of that hate.

If I don't like something, I just don't say anything, or if I feel I must, I try to phrase it in a way that's not mean. I'm a very sensitive and emotional person and I am always trying to make sure that other people don't feel what I feel when I get my feelings hurt because it's NOT fun.

That being said, you're never going to please anyone and I think it's takes a thick skin to do youtube videos and blogs (which is why I've never done it because my skin is so thin it's practically translucent!). You have to please YOU. No one else.

There are always going to be keyboard gangsters coming out of the woodwork feeling that they just HAVE to comment and say whatever they feel like, mean or not, because you can't track them or they're not all up in your face physically. If you love blogging and doing videos then keep doing them, because there are probably a bunch of people out there who DO love and appreciate what you do.

Finally the collection launched today here!

I got:

- Our Secret fluidline (I was going to get It's Phisical, but it was way too glittery for me, I really-really liked it, but my eyes don't really like that much amaount of glitter. Our Secret is a BEAUTIFUL medium brown, it is just perfect!)

- Close Contact lipstick (I like everything about this lippie, such a nice peachy-nude, totally my type of nude.)

- Oh my darling lipglass (I tried to pass it, but when I tried it on my lips... oh, boy... I think this is my fave item from this collection. I don't understand why Impossibly Sweet is listed as a dupe for Oh my darling on T's website though...

Impossibly Sweet is a clear gloss with mainly pink glitters, Oh my darling is a nice yellowish pink based lipgloss with really really fine pearly pigments.

)

I also got a few items for my sister: Superb edsf, Our Secret and It's Phisical fluidlines.

I really liked Superb but is was just too pigmented for me... And Fairly Precious looked really orangy on my skin so I passed them.
I got Superb for my sister, and she will give me her brand new Definetly Defined instead, yaay! Finally I will have an EDSF too!

Overall I am really liking this collection, January nude collections are always my faves!
