Been a while since I've been in this thread. You all look stunning in your PC lippies!

I really like mine, but haven't had much opportunity to wear them. PC pulls more red on me than I would like (as do most purples). It doesn't look as true grape purple as I had expected, it looks close to Instigator. I still like it though!

Instigator is pure love! I thought PC would be my favourite colour of this collection, but Instigator kicked it's ass. It's such a gorgeous colour, and surprisingly easy to wear.

Studded Kiss was a darkhorse. I didn't think I would like it that much, but didn't want to skip. It doesn't pull as brown on me as expected, which is good. I've worn it a couple of times, and it is a nice, darkish red. I'm glad it doesn't wash me out.

I've swatched all of them against possible dupes in my collection, so far, I haven't found any true dupes. The closest would be Instigator/Cyber, but cousins. The texture of Instigator wins. PC was closer to Potent Fig, and MUFE #14. But not dupes at all. SK was closest to Endless Drama (I don't have Diva). Endless Drama was darker, more berry red.


Has anyone bothered with the glosses? I pulled out my Style Black ones and tried them over Hautecore. Yuck. I can't stand glosses over lipstick. It just gets too mushy feeling. It turned into a greasy mess, and I could hardly see the shimmer.

The only glosses I've ever liked over lipstick were the Dare to Wear lipglasses, because they had a drier texture. I tried them over Hautecore as well, and the effect was really pretty, but somewhat patchy. Those glosses work better over a matching lippie.. for me anyway.

Thanks! I used On A Mission blush from a collection years ago. Style Warriors, maybe? The highlight is Diamonds CCB from the Rihanna collection. I also contoured a bit with Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer.
