Wow...how does anyone use the brush on these Dior nail polishes? It's awful....at least for me. Any tips on how to use it?
The brush doesn't bother me too much, I usually just place it in the middle of my nail and let it splay out to cover the whole surface and pull upwards. I do that with most polish brushes, keeps it from getting too gloopyWow...how does anyone use the brush on these Dior nail polishes? It's awful....at least for me. Any tips on how to use it?
I know what you mean! When I opened mine this morning I could feel the cold coming off the bottles lolMaybe part of my problem is that it was almost frozen. I tried the polish right after it was delivered and it's verrrrry cold right now as I'm sure it is by you too. I'll have to give it another try.
Dior is actually my favorite polish to use. The brush does take some getting used to in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it you'll fall in love. One of my biggest tips is to not hold it upright, try and lay it a little flatter. The tip of the brush is perfect for getting close to your cuticle and getting a perfect line.Wow...how does anyone use the brush on these Dior nail polishes? It's awful....at least for me. Rose Crinoline looks GORG! Thanks so much! Off to order....
I definitely recommend it! I tend to stay away from light pinks because a lot of them just look crazy on my pale skin (nudes too) but this one just has something about it that I love!Rose Crinoline looks GORG! Thanks so much! Off to order....
Hi urbis, Thank you so much for ur kind words, as i am still learning about makeup with limited time (when i have an attention seeking daughter). The finish? Erm... for this post, i was using YsL Touche Eclat foundation and set it with Chanel's loose powder. For Chanel spring look at page 14, I actually used the same liquid foundation but before that, I prepped my skin with a makeup base from Dior. It was a sample, though. Hehehe.Liye, could be that my monitor is playing tricks on me ... But your make up (which is glorious) looks very similar to the one you posted in the chanel spring 14 section!!! Is it possible that the finishes look the same or am I to change my monitor? Anyway, gorg look!
The polishes and the creamy e/s looks amazing, and I'd love to swtch courtisane close to chanel's la divaI was playing with this collection a little last night. I tried the Perle top coat and I really like the effect. It's violet-toned and shimmery, but also matte. Very smooth, too. The matte Mono Fusion shadows have the most amazing texture, like a soft rubber ball. They're really springy to the touch. I'm reluctant to try cream shadows because I'm allergic to most of them, but I'm quite tempted by these. Usually, the less shimmery they are, the less problems they cause me.
I know I really want Souveraine & I'm so upset because it doesn't look like it will be available in the US. It's on Selfridge'z website but I can't fathom spending $41 for shipping alone. Damn it Dior! I'll be looking forward to seeing lippie swatches as that is what I'm most interested in, but haven't seen too many of the 2 that aren't available in the US.I'm in the US, I'm not sure if or what stores are getting the other 2 lipsticks but I really want one of them too! I want Souveraine and haven't seen it anywhere yet. My Rose Crinoline comes in next week, I'll def post swatches
Hi Swanky dearie,What lipstick are you wearing? You look gorgeous!
I looked on there as well and I agree, there's no way I'm spending that much for shipping! I order things from the UK all the time and it's never that much for shipping!I know I really want Souveraine & I'm so upset because it doesn't look like it will be available in the US.
