MAC Magnetic Nude Collection (December 26, 2013)

The only products I bought from this collection were Fairly Precious and Steel Kiss. Though I loved the latter for its unique color, it wound up coming back. It is very similar to You've Got It Cremesheen lipglass. You've Got It is just a little more subdued than Steel Kiss and the fine shimmer isn't as pronounced -- it's also not as tacky in texture.

I haven't busted out Fairly Precious as I have a lot of highlighters in my rotation. How does everyone feel about it?

Used FP last night and really loved how it turned out! Definitely made me feel like I had "going out" makeup on and not just everyday face

I only bought superb but I'm really thinking about getting this one too the swatches look really pretty

totally agree about steel kiss being like you've got it, as i said in an earlier post. i was bummed tht i couldn't find a backup of you've got it, but am very happy i was able to pick up steel kiss today. don't know which one i like better yet, but steel kiss will last longer on the lips because it's tackier and you're right about the shimmer being more pronounced. i can't wait til it comes in the mail!
as for fairly precious, i think it's beautiful! has a great shimmery sheen and a just a hint of warmth.

Magnetic Appeal in live is divine! On my NC20 skin looks great as a bronzer / blush.
It's Physical disappointed me - too glittery. In turn, I used today A Natural Flirt as a highlighter and the effect was wonderful!

My orders from this collection STILL have not gotten to me. The mail is sooo backed up from the Christmas rush that people are still waiting on things for Christmas. I can't wait to be back in the states and not have to deal with Military mail. Ugh. I am going to keep my fingers crossed that at least my first order will be here today. I am getting so impatient.

Went to the MAC counter to get a couple of Back2MAC lippies and the SA was complaining that Steel Kiss was sold out and she didn't get a chance to grab one. Told her I have 2 and how that's big when I don't really use lip glass like I used to. She started begging me to sell one to her lol. Told her that I believe it's still available on the website. Just thought it was funny that she would beg a customer to sell her something.

That's crazy. I realized how frustrating it can be when your desired item is sold out. I got my BU of SS, and three more Steel Kisses. I know, crazy. But this lipglass looks great on top of all my nudes and on its own. I took a couple of those disposable lip brushes that they use in the store for the lipglasses I purchased. I'll use those brushes to put on SK to get a more dramatic effect with it. I tried that in the store and POW!! Side thought, I was surprised that Overspiced sold out so quickly on the MAC website out of all the lip glasses. I have it but I wonder why everyone took to that one over all the others.

Now, I just to quickly tried It's Physical Fluidline on the entire eyelid and is much better than as liner. And I would rather use it only in this way.

As "basic" as You've Got It looked in the tube, the faint green shimmer got me! I like this taupe-y colors because I can add it over a nude, pink or coral lipstick and it just adds something extra to the lips.

Love Steel Kiss! Just dabbed right on the center adds a nice pouty effect and the shimmer in it adds something extra just looks good! Glad you like it.

Love it my nc15 skin but i love nusual blush colors. It goes sort of soft apricot- brown. It was used lightly at several fashion week shows so if you google pm and fashion week you will see. I think its on mac's tumblr too. Don't use too much tho. A light hand is your friend with this blush.

My MA, SS, and CC came today. I had no makeup on and tried MA on my cheeks, it gave me a beautiful bronze glow that oddly enough didn't turn up too metallic. I quite like it! I also tried Sensual Sparks on my lips and I have to say I'm digging this barely there makeup bronze glowy look... Really plays up the warm tones in my skin and hair. I like it!

Ok ladies so I know from the start I said I was skipping the lippies but lately I've been having skippers remorse for close contact... Luckily I was able to track a store that has it which isn't that close to where I live :/ do you guys think it worth it ? Is it really an amazing nude ??
