Courtisane lipstick indoors with natural light and Bouquet NP indoors artificial light.

In keeping with the theme of Low Buying, I am being more critical.

I love the colour of Courtisane, but am not a fan of the thin consistency of the formula as it does not last like a MAC lipstick (e.g. Matte, Satins, Amplified especially). I had to touch up before heading out at night, so I put MAC Pink Nouveau on top which is similar as I knew it would last better over a meal. I have no regrets, but I am considering whether I want a back up or not as I do think the colour is very pretty and unique but the wearing power is annoying for the price.

Bouquet has more pink in it than the photos show, and it depends on the light. Happy with this one.

All the talk about CB is making me want the blush too. There was no one at the counter and the display was elevated against the wall, so I bent forward to sniff it. Nothing. I tried again and still nothing. Just heated plastic smell. Maybe a fresh undisplayed one would have the nice scent.

I have not only sniffed plastic displays, I found what I thought was a virgin ES tester and started to try it with my pinky.. it was plastic

hell I even covered it up by saying it has lousy pigmentation

Lol. I couldn't just smell it without swatching. I love the soft texture, not too powdery. But I'm still not buying it yet.

Not the elegant one, but how do you feel about Essie polishes? They have a few lovely coral ones. (Names escape me at the mo but could report back if you want me to). Also if you like a more creamsicle colour Opi comes out with its Brazil collection which has some nice ones. I'm a beauty geek has great swatches of the Opis.

I'm not interested in the quint with the blue but I like the other one that has the neutrals and the orange shade. I hope we get both in the US and not just the blue one

After the weirdness with the Trianon collection getting split up I'm afraid to get too excited for Dior pieces that I want lol
