I don't get the hype for Morning Rose. I almost feed in, then I tell myself it looks like the GWP lippie I receive every other time or so with Clinique, EL or Lancome?

Oooh I think I know what you're talking about. It's Lancôme "Love It" which I have 2 of from 2 different GWP from 2 different years. That color is flattering on me though. LOL.

I can't speak for anyone else but it's a color that is very flattering on me and one that I didn't have in my stash. If you have it and it's truly the same as colors you already have then yes....I can see not understanding the hype. But there's a reason people are loving it lol

Morning Rose was the one I was most excited about. When I went to the counter and tried it on I didn't like it, I just didn't feel as though it looked like it was anything special on my lips

Same here. That was the only lippie that I wanted from the collection and I ended up passing it up. Didn't like it as much once I swatched it. No problem though that just freed up more money for my punk couture lippies.

I love Morning Rose, and I can't usually wear pinks. Punk Couture was a disappointment to me; I love Studded Kiss lipstick (I'm wearing it now actually) but I returned Instigator because I just couldn't make it work on me.

I felt the same way about Morning Rose, was very disappointed. Carnal Instinct is the one that surprised me from this collection. at first I was like Bleh but when I tried it on I loved it. My first ever frost lipstick. I usually stick to Satin, Matte and Retro Matte.

I'm the opposite. Most of what I wear are pinks, but it didn't even look very pinky on me, which is unusual, but then maybe it's because I'm not used to that particular shade! I'm glad it works for you though.
Studded kiss is a lovely shade and I'm determined to start giving those shades a try … it's just going to take some time working up to them, haha

I think thats what I need to start doing! Even though I might think that I wouldn't like it, or that that it wouldn't suit me, I just need to try them on!
I think that the lighting isn't very true to life in my local mac store/counters though, which is annoying!

Yes girl! You wouldn't know what looks lovely on you til you try it. From my experience it's always the products you assume would be least flattering that turn out to bet the best ones.
