The finish is beautiful, but it's not the perfect red for my skin tone. It really comes alive for me with the gloss on top, though - then it's like Dorothy's ruby slippers!!! 'Wore it out this weekend and random people were treating me nice hehe.
Next time, I'm going to try a little more blue-red or bright orange-red lip pencil underneath to see if I can get a perfect balance to wear it without the gloss…it's one of those neutral reds that doesn't do much for me, otherwise.

I just tried it over bad girl riri, it made it a more flattering red for me. It toned down the sparkle factor though. I wanted to love the lipstick as much as I love the packaging but sadly its not that great on me, on its own. Love the gloss though!

It looks bluer to me too. It's so hard to photograph colors like that accurately for the internet, though, so who knows?? We'll find out soon enough!

I so agree with you! I consider myself to be somewhat fashion forward & even a little edgy with my make up at times, BUT...I just refuse to wear blue lipstick! I just don`t think it would look flattering on anyone, you know that whole death warmed over look. I see people with blue lips at work & we are giving them plenty of oxygen to make blue lips go away!

I must be the only one that likes this lol. But I do wear uncommon colors regularly so that might be why.
