First, thank you so much for the info on Dandelion blush, Her Greyness. Pink Cult and Pink Tea and The Perfect Cheek are all no-sweat blushes for me - i rarely wear blush unless i do a full face because of my rosacea, but they work wonderfully because they look so natural on me. This looks like a blush i can actually use (despite the fact that my blush collection needs serious pruning).

I must say the model on the right looks fantastic in that somewhat violet blue. She can really WEAR that color. I know i sure wouldn't look that good. I photographed all my blue, teal, and green lipsticks yesterday - i need to play with them once it's spring and summer.

Her skin is very finely perfected and polished. Anyone who smoothes their skin out that perfectly could probably pull it off, with the right attitude!

Same here and I find that it's taking forever to get through the tube because I hardly use it because it doesn't work. It'll be one of those tubes of something that lingers on for years that I finally just end up tossing. lol
I got a tiny tube of Jack Black in some sephora VIB thingy but i never used it. My lips are usually ok. Then, some months ago i had horribly dry cracked lips. The JB was A-MAZING. I put it on before bed and in the morning my lips were nearly back to normal. And by the 2nd day they were better than ever. I'm a real skeptic, because other lip balms i've tried have not been pleasant. But the JB was soft and smooth and blended right in, not waxy or cakey or sticky or gummy.

I use the JB the same way -- right before bed and my lips have been really good this winter.

Has anyone tried Black Tea? It's always sold out when I go.

Exactly! No other lip care works for me.

I'm glad it works so well for you, it just doesn't do a whole lot for me and I've been using it for a few months. It doesn't seem to do much better than any other lip balm I've tried and I swear it actually makes my lips drier once it wears off. Maybe it's the one I got or something, but I really don't think it was worth my 7 bucks. :(

Found this on Instagram. I am dying to know what colors are in the e/s palette! Any ideas? I don't think it's new.

I'm having trouble with quotes today for some reason, so I'll just ramble.

I will definitely check out Dandelion; it's become clear to me that my preference is for everyday, subtle blushes that can be built up as desired. I have a couple of stronger ones that I like a lot (Dollymix, My Paradise, etc.) but they don't get the kind of heavy wear that my Douceur, The Perfect Cheek, Launch Away, At Dusk type blush get. I missed both Pink Cult and Pink Tea so something in that family would be welcome.

I tried the Casual Colours when they launched and returned both because I didn't like them as lip products or blush. They were very drying on my lips (settled into a lot of lines I don't see with any other product) and too wet/tacky on my cheeks even when lightly used. I've tried one NARS Multiple (South Beach) and I gave it away because it didn't last on me at all. I'm not a huge fan of dual purpose products because I haven't found that they serve both well enough to meet my standards. I'd rather have two great products. I do have a couple of Bobbi Brown Pot Rouges that I like wearing as a base for blush (so that I get longer wear) but I don't use them on my lips (haven't even tried them that way).

I'm not a fan of blue/green lips even on runway models or editorial shots; there are some women who are so beautiful that their bone structure/features would carry them even if smeared in mud, but that doesn't mean I think it's a good look. Glad others have fun with them, but I don't personally find them flattering on anyone.

I'm excited for these sparkle shadows - i already love the pressed pigments to death, so something that's a little more refined than those would be even better.

I'm wondering what those creamy looking products are too! Maybe they're new colors for the return of the Electric Cool shadows? The packaging seems right. Electric Cool in subdued, deep colors would be fantastic!

That color looks incredibly flattering. 'Talk about jumbo-sized pan, though….that's Land of the Giants huge. Here's to that being for the tester only.

Thanks for sneaking in all of these peeks again, HG.
