I received my Sakura today. It looked smooth, no dents. Elegant, I wonder if they could send you a different one? Over foundation, it gave me a pretty Spring-y flush. I'll keep it and hope it doesn't harden. The scent was strong on mine (didn't care for the smell). I also got Baie Rose gloss. Gorgeous paired with Vivid Rose aqua crayon. The texture is smooth and glossy, but probably not quite as long wearing as sticky glosses. Liking both so far

I'm so happy yours was fine. That lip combo sounds so pretty. How would you describe Baie Rose color?

I thought of you last weekend when I swatched Bobbi Browns new Pink Kiss lipstick

Its a beautiful soft ballet pink nude. Mine should be here this week.

^^I think you are right about Sakura -- very pretty, but not necessarily a "must have". But I was glad mine arrived smooth. It did kick up a lot of powder though, and I just used a gentle skunk brush.

Baie Rose is a bright rosey pink. It looks young and face brightening. I lined my lips first with Vivid Rose and kind of smudged it all over my lips -- so I think it gave the gloss a little more oomph. Oooh, I will have to look at the new BB lippies!

There is a colour from Bourjois blush (Chanel's owner) .. which is quite similar. I am not sure tho since I have not used Sakura on my face. The Bourjois blushes are lightly scented too... lol

It's such a beautiful colour.. I can't for the life of me figure out why Chanel doesn't take into account the fact that to Anglo consumers, the word Rosace sounds too similar to the skin condition Rosacea.. it might be a turn off for someone not as cultured as the French.

I just received Rose de Vents IdO, Eau de Rose Aqualumiere, and Charmeuse Rouge Allure. Rose de Vents is nice. The temptalia review sums it up well. Eau de Rose is in a similar vein to Surprise (162) glossimer, but with finer shimmer. Charmeuse is my favorite out of the three. It's very similar in color to the recently released Rouge Coco Shine in Satisfaction. A great nude.

Couldn't resist the powder much longer.. so I just ordered that.

My Chanel order just arrived, and I plan to try some of the products tomorrow. I am hoping that I like the JC when applied. I haven't swatched or sniffed it yet.

I have been so busy with work lately (hectic time of year for my job) that getting a Chanel package was a welcome present to myself.

Noooo! I got on Chanel.com last night to order Sakura and it's gone! Any chance of getting it anywhere else? I'm so gutted that I missed it.

Here's how Sakura looks for an NC45 skin :) I'm so happy that Chanel JC's do show up and give justice on my skin tone. I only have to build it in 2 layers and it's fully opaque. I'm glad I was able to get this.

Has anyone purchased the powder? Temptalia said that it was good as an all-over powder, so I'm considering purchasing it but I need to know the ingredients. I emailed CS but they still haven't responded.

... And probably cs will never answer, in my experience that's the standard policy of the House

Are you in the US? The few times I've e-mailed for ingredients they've ended up Fed-Ex'ing them to me! You might try calling, although I got Fed-Ex'ed then too. You might try calling a counter. A lot of SAs will at least look for particular things you need to avoid, and some will read the whole list.

Goodness, that seems like a lot of trouble when they could just email the info!
